A bad blood turned this vieux riche families sour to each other.If your into classic of enemies to lovers, of Romeo and Juliet minus the "tanan" of course, then this is your of cup tea.What I love about this book is how swon worthy the characters are, each feudal families upholds distinctive feautures of honor and dignity;each posses distinctive oppulent wealth and each characters are enigmatic (macucurios ka talaga sa back story nila at mga hugot nila sa buhay) .The world building of the place "Del Gallego" is more than just paradise but a battle ground of love and hate for the "current" generation.

I actually read this yrs ago, and up untill now I was really invested and looking forward to this series,as it offers a strong start from book1(Flyjng w/o wings) -book2(Withering in summer's heat) .The author's style of classic narratives are really impressive---it will surey grabs attention sa synopsis at prologue pa lang ng story. The story has this dark romance vibes pumped into it that you cant get enough but crave .And of course the icing of the cake is non other than the top notch push and pull chemistry between characters---the sexual tensions, the heated arguments, the hot steamy love scenes is romantically written with careful choosen words by the author clearly not for bed scene sake or para pahabain lng yung story but to invoke deeper connection between lovers/characters, and that's what I appreciatte more about this author because she doesn't do filler chapters, each chapters has significance and impactfull to the totality of the story,kumbaga sa drama, hindi sya draggy---it has clear intention and direction . BTW,the series is flooded with red flag men (especially the Guerrero Men) but ladies aren't we're all sucker and color blind for this kind of "fictional men".

Sadly, the author hasn't been active in wattpad anymore, hindi ko lang alam sa ibang platform, the series stop at book 3 (Lullaby for the Ashes) . I hope she/he find the strength to grab her/his pen and continue this amazing series.
