KAIDENS POV
I groaned softly as I sat up in the bed I was currently laying in, extending my arms to stretch until it reached the bottom of the bed above me. I pulled my hands to my face, rubbing my eyes still weary from waking up so early. I licked my dry lips before pulling off the covers. I dragged myself out of the hard mattress bed, letting my feet touch the cold wooden floor. Fully standing up out of bed, my legs were still wobbly as I made my way to the bathroom that was not far from me.My feet touched the even colder tiled floor, extending my hand out to the light switch to turn on the lights. As I did so, I was met with a blinding bright light, shielding my eyes then blinking them a couple of times. Finally my eyes had adjusted to the lights. I picked up my tooth brush, squeezing out the last drop of my tooth paste on the brush. I then brought it up to my mouth and started to brush my teeth.
Once I had finished I spat it out into the sink. Washing the rest out with water. I stretched my wobbly legs for they were still asleep. Ze, right. He hasn't woken up yet. I peaked out from the bathrooms door frame to see my best friend still asleep on the top bunk, which is also the bed above me. I wiped my mouth of the remaining water still on my face, reaching out my arm to turn off the light. I then exited the bathroom, making my way to my bed again.
This time, I climbed up on the ladder leading to my best friend's bed, also know as Ze. I made my way up the ladder, stopping at the last step. I peaked up at Ze, grinning with the lingering thought to scream at him to wake up. If anything he's supposed to be awake for practice today, yet he's not. I took a deep breath preparing to scream.
"WAKE UP ZE," I shouted at him, being just loud enough for him to hear but not my other teammates who were getting ready for practice unlike this lazy bum. I laughed, watching Ze jolt awake from my wake up call. Ze groaned, opening his eyes with annoyance.
"I just can never sleep can I," Ze sarcastically questioned, looking down at me who was still at the last step of the ladder.
"We've got practice today, what did you expect," I replied with a still small lingering laugh following after.
"At 6am," Ze questioned, yet he didn't sound the least bit of surprised. Ze rubbed his eyes before letting them adjust to the now known light. He looked back down at me, "And what are you doing waking me up? Shouldn't you be at practice," He asked.
"Well, I thought it'd be nice to wake you up! I was even questioning myself if I should really wake you up or not," I shrugged with a prideful smile.
"And what were you doing in that time of thinking? Staring at me? Watching me sleep," Ze grinned, teasingly leaning in closer to mess with me.
"I could never stare at such a face for that long period of time," I shrugged, laughing at the slight shock on his face.
"Can't you just let me sleep," Ze begged, looking up at the ceiling.
"Mmm...," I hummed, looking at him. "Nope! You can't miss practice, not again," I said in a slightly animated voice, giggling at the desperate look on his face.
"Come on! Please?? I'll do anything come on," Ze pleaded, looking back down at me.
I raised an eyebrow, "Like what," I questioned, watching as he leaned in closer.
"Like this," Ze whispered, before I could even question I felt a pair of lips on mine. I leaned into the kiss for support, letting Ze's hand reach out to support my head. His fingers tangling with my hair. He broke the kiss with a smile, leaving me there as a blushing mess.
"I'll tell coach you're sick...," I stumbled over my words, climbing back down the ladder quickly. My cheeks crimson red as I speeded my way to the door, touching my lips with a tingly feeling. As if I wanted more. Do I want more..?
