Y/n was waking up in the morning in the guild's dorms, he gets up from his bed and noticed that everyone including his mom was gone. He turned to Gabite and said to him.
Y/n: Hey, Gabite. Where's mom and everyone else?
Gabite: They went out on the mission, partner.
Y/n: Without me?
Then combustken come in and said that they'll have to do a solo mission for Y/n. Then Y/n, and his two Pokemon partners, including Gouging Fire, went out the his dorm and everyone else was freaking out that Y/n has a paradox pokemon as his team member, and since he rescued Gouging Fire, and has become loyal to Y/n.
Then a girl named Lusamine, came in and take a good look at Gouging Fire and said.

Lusamine: I believe that's a paradox pokemon, yes.
Y/n: Yeah, and who're you?
Lusamine: Oh, how rude of me. I'm Lusamine. And you are?
Y/n: Y/n Oosuki.
Lusamine: You're Mamako's son? And I believe that you're 18 years old, yes?
Y/n nodded his head yes and Ayaka told him there's a merchant man and his cart filled with antiques and rare treasures in it, and she told him that the cart is 9 miles from here. Y/n and Gouging Fire was walking outside and Lusamine told them good luck.
Lusamine: Good luck, Y/n.
Y/n: Me and Gouging Fire will be back with the cart.
He hops on Gouging Fire's back and rode off to the direction where Ayaka told him to go to. As they were going, Y/n found the cart and a couple of bandits and was about to ambush the man with the cart who was guarding the treasure to deliver.
Bandit 1: Just give us the treasure, old man. And no one gets hurt.
Chris: You'll never get it and over my dead body!
The second bandit pulls out the sword and pointed it at him and said.
Bandit 2: Last chance, bastard!
Then Y/n came in and shouted at them.
Y/n: Hey!!!
The two bandits look at him. Before they about to taunt with him, Y/n activated his wind manipulation and a tornado starting to form around his arm.
Then the two bandits was charging at him, and Y/n used his winds and blasted them away, then they crashed into the ground and Gouging Fire ran up to them, picked both of them up and threw them away into a forest and into a swamp.
Y/n looks at the traveler and said to him while offered to help him up.
Y/n: You ok, sir?
Chris: Yes. Thank you, kind boy. I believe that the guild sent you here?
