It was five thirty and I was just now leaving the court house. My client was found not guilty thankfully, she was on house arrest though but that was better than a life sentence in jail.
I walked out of the courthouse tired and just ready to go home but when I got to the car I realized that wouldn't be happening for a few hours.
"Hi Ms. Dorinda! Did you win?" Solange asked me as Beyoncé helped me into the car.
"Now you know I did. How was school?" I asked her and Angie as I buckled up and waited for Bey to get in the car.
"It was good. I joined the art club today." She said with a smile, her braces fully showing.
"Same, I was thinking about joining the drama club since there's a play soon." Angie responded.
"Well if you do join let me know, I'll come and see you." I said with a smile as I turned my attention to Beyoncé.
"I tried to take them home but they bullied me into saying yes." She said with her hands up making me laugh.
"I didn't even say anything." I said with a playful eyeroll.
"She just scary. She doesn't want her Rinny Pooh mad at her." Solo said making Beyoncé blush fiercely as she tried to hide her face.
"Oh Lord, y'all and this nickname. I'm convinced little sisters only exist to tease their older siblings." I said with a laugh making Solange and Angie smile and nod.
"Yep. Its our sole purpose in life." Angie said as Beyoncé finally started driving.
"So where are we eating since y'all wanna expose a nigga?" Beyoncé said.
"Expose? That's barely anything, at least I didn't speak on how you were acting after your date." Solange said making Beyoncé glance back at her.
"Shut up Piaget and pick a place." Beyoncé shot back quickly.
"I wanna have a pizza and movie night." Angie butted in.
"Okay order the pizza. We can pick it up after we drop Doe off." Beyoncé said making me scrunch up my face a little.
"Wow no invite?" I said playfully but seriously at the same time.
"I just figured you'd wanna go home after today. I wasn't trying to purposely exclude Ma." She said grabbing my hand.
