It was the next morning and Jim had woke up alone in bed, he looked over to see Jane looking at herself in the bathroom mirror.
He got up and as he got closer he saw the bruises he'd left from last night. Jim felt bad but at the same time didn't.
"Do you need any medicine?" Jim muttered, still tired.
Jane just looked at him, looked down, and nodded. Jim nodded as well, for whatever reason, and went downstairs to get pain killers and a glass of water. He began to feel worse about it, seeing that he'd hurt his own lover.
"I heard you two go to pound town." Corey laughed, getting a kick out of it even though he brings home loud women as well.
"Shut the fuck up." Jim frowned, starting to get fed up with Corey.
Corey just stopped and went back to what he was doing. Paul, who was watching William, seen right away that something was up.
"I'll be right back buddy." Paul says to William.
"Uncle Corey, what is pound town and why is daddy mad you say that?" William pokes Corey.
"Uhm.." Corey starts. "Nothing for you to know."
"Come on Uncle Corey, I wanna know." William pouts.
Paul went into the kitchen to see Jim looking through the medicine cabinet until he found pain killers.
"Hey, what's up?" Paul asks, looking at Jim.
"Nothing." Jim responds, which clearly is a lie.
"I'm not stupid, I can see right through you. Talk to me. Maybe I can help." Paul sighs, trying to convince him to just tell him what's wrong.
"You can't help me, trust me." Jim says, now getting a glass for water.
"Maybe I can in some form or way." Paul replies.
"First off, I hurt Jane, like she has bruises from last night that hurt bad enough she needs medicine and I'm so fucking fed up with Corey I don't know what I'm going to do." Jim mutters just loud enough for Paul to hear it.
"Ask her about it, if you were to rough on her or anything and just ignore Corey, he's a complete jackass." Paul responds, in the same volume so just Jim could hear him.
"Thanks but I better get back to Jane." Jim sighs, which Paul nods to.
"Please Uncle Corey!! Just tell me!" William whined while tugging on Corey's leg.
"Fine, it's because your mommy and your daddy had a lot of fun last night and everyone in the house heard it and he's grumpy." Corey says, keeping back a laugh.
"What kind of fun?" William questions, curiosity filling his mind.
"Well, whenever two people fall in love, they get in bed with no clothes on and-" Corey started but was interrupted.
"Corey what the fuck?" Jim questions, more agitated than before.
William runs to Jim and pokes his leg, making Jim look down.
"What did you and mommy do when you were in bed with no clothes on?" William questions.
"Don't worry about that, just go to your room for now, why don't you ask your Uncle Sid to go with you?" Jim replies, trying to sound calm.
"Okay!" William runs into the direction of Sid's room.
"I'm going to go bring this to Jane and then I'm going to be bitching at you for a hot second. I will be back." Jim says, clearly frustrated before walking up the steps to his and Jane's room.
"You're in deep shit Corey, deep, deep, shit." Paul sighs, disappointed.
After Jim got up to his room, he saw Jane laying in bed with the TV on. He walked over to her, handed her the two painkillers and the glass of water. She thanked him before taking them and finishing the glass of water.
"I wasn't to rough on you last night was I?.." Jim asked.
"Oh no, it was perfect, the pain is much more intense whenever I wake up, but it's all good." Jane responds, making Jim sigh in relief.
"Everything alright though? You seem sort of.. mad?" Jane questions.
"Well, I walked out of the kitchen to Corey telling William things, and now I've got to bitch at him like I always do when he does something fucking stupid." Jim sighs. "Well I better go do that, I'll be back, I love you."
"I love you too." Jane replies before Jim kissed her and then went out of the room.
Jim went back downstairs to see Corey sat in the same spot he had been in, looking annoyed at the fact he knows he's about to get chewed on out by Jim.
"Corey, I don't understand why you've got to be such a pain in the ass, what the fuck is wrong with you? Would you ever tell your kid about that shit?" Jim started, but remembering that Corey doesn't even get to see his own kid at the moment. "Shit, Corey I'm sorry." Jim apologizes, seeing how quickly sadness washed over Corey at the mention of his son whom he hasn't seen even gotten to see yet.
"Nah it's fine go on, I would probably if he was bugging me like that." Corey sighed.
"I'm sorry, just please think twice before doing shit." Jim says before he goes back to his room and just laid beside Jane, snuggling up close to her.
"Everything alright?" Jane asked him while running one of her hands through his hair.
"I brought up his son not meaning to." Jim replied. "I feel like I just can't to anything today."
"It's okay, everyone has these kind of days. But I do want you to know that I'm here for you." Jane comforts, still running her fingers through his hair.
Jim gets up and lays on Jane's chest, his body between her legs, Jane wrapping her arms around him. It was as if Jane was holding him, which she was, in a way.
"I just don't know what to do anymore." Jim mutters.
"Just lay right here and calm down for a moment. Just remember that you dont have to make everything perfect, you don't have to do everything, and that everyone makes mistakes. It's human." Jane says, away trying to comfort her lover.
(A/N): Corey was about to ruin Williams childhood fr, but this chapter was easy to write for whatever reason but that's good. I'll update again soon (hopefully)
