My answer will always be "it's ok" .. and no matter how I try to hide the true feelings that I have towards her decision, lumalabas pa din talaga..
" Bub.. " she called me. Actually, kanina nya pa ako kinakausap ngunit wala akong maintindihan sa mga sinasabi nito. I've secretly prepared a surprise for her birthday, pero ako yung nasorpresa sa decision nya.
" bub? May- - may sinasabi ka?" Tanong ko.
" di mo ko narinig? Or di mo ko pinapakinggan.. " direktang sabi nito.
" ha?"
" ok , di mo nga narinig dahil di mo ko pinapakinggan.. "

Malungkot akong tumango. I prefer not to say any thing. Ika nga nila, talk less than necessary. Dahil sa totoo lang, ang dami kong gustong sabihin. Ang dami kong gustong itanong. . Im sure, in any way, I might hurt my wife's feelings and I can't bear to see her having a hard time choosing. .

" got to go" . Umalis na ako nang di man lang hinihintay ang sagot nya. Habang pababa ako ng hagdanan, may kung anong mabigat sa puso ko. Hindi ko ito napaghandaan. . Hindi ko ito nakitang mangyari. . Parang binigla ako na ewan.
And while inside the car, i suddenly dialled mom's number.. "Mama.. "
" hey , what happened?"
" mom.. i- -can we have coffee??"
" sure . Sige, magkita na lang-
" im coming over. . Susunduin ko dapat si Paolo . "
" ok ok. . I'll prepare your fave snacks. Just like the old times. . Ingat - - "
" yes mom.. " I just need to see mom. I need to talk to her. I just have to. Parang sasabog na ang puso ko. .
Makaraan lamang ng ilang minuto, papasok na ako ng bahay. . And i saw Paolo .
" hey Kuya, . You ok?"
" yeah of course! Pero di muna kita masamahan sa practice mo ah. May pag uusapan lang kami ni Mama. . "
" it's ok . . Im grown up now, no need to accompany me. Anyway, ate Sarah, invited me over dinner. Diretso na ko pahatid mamaya sa bahay nyo. "

" kanina. She even asked me what to cook, tas sabi ko yung shrimp with butter and lots of garlic! Plus also yung garlic bread na gawa nya, it's super delicious! Pag maaga matapos practice game, diretso na ko sa inyo ah! "

Sabay pa kami ni Paolo na tumakbo palapit dito. We both showered her kisses! Oh how i missed making lambing kay mom..
" talk.. " si Mom. Pagkahatid namin kay Pao sa sasakyan, agad na ako hinila ni Mama pa gazeebo. She made me my fave snacks.. and now we're sitted and facing each other. . "What is it? May problema kayo ni Sarah?"
