He was flustered by the amount of screaming students and the huge crowd that came to watch the SOPA dance team perform on stage in the middle of the school building as they always do for the students for the past years. They danced passionately that the students watched them in awe and admiration. There were vitality, passion, his energy, and enthusiasm for dancing are always translated through his moves that made him unique from his other members that made everyone fall for his charms.

Their eyes met and locked as the song came to a halt, trailed by the screams from the female students. The crowd was chaotic, and most of them were all chanting, "KIM JONGIN! KIM JONGIN!" audible screams from the other girls were said like "MARRY ME, OPPA!" and "FATHER MY CHILDREN." Students around Yeonhee were pressing her into the stage, and she was literally being suffocated by the crowd. So much for dating the Kim Jongin. One of the best dancers in their school, and well, she's just dating none other than the captain of the dance team. A hunky guy with well-defined abs, a modest athletic body which is contented by perfection by the way.

Jongin teasingly smirked at Yeonhee and she scoffed by his action. An enormous sound came from screaming girls as they all thought he was smirking at them. Jongin was enjoying the huge amount of fangirls cheering for him and mostly because he was enjoying watching her girlfriend sacrifice her image for the sake of watching her boyfriend dance for the student body. Yeonhee was drenched in sweat as students were still cheering Jongin and the team. With a quick flip of her wrist, she gave him the middle finger. He threw his head back and laughed.

"Aigoo~ my girlfriend is too sweet." he muttered under his breath. He recovered quickly, reaching out to touch a few outstretched hands, melting the front line of female students. The dance team immediately bowed to the audience and thanked them for supporting them as they exited the stage.

Yeonhee quickly pushed some of the girls who were also pushing her as she made her way out of the crowded place. "I never knew dating him would be sacrificing my life in there" as she looked back at the female students and gave a little shiver as the wind flicked at her drenched face.

"You look like you came from a war" a boy commented.

"More like fandom war" she clenched her teeth and rolled her eyes. But the other voice just laughed and ruffled her hair playfully.

"You look so ugly by the way." The boy teased as he flashed her his heart-shaped smile.

"Ya! No need to rub it in. You don't have to emphasize my ugly face right now" she gave him a quick punch on the arm. She sighed and blew a strand of hair dangling on her face "Yah oppa, what are you doing here?" as she realized her brother was there.

"Uh, I came to pick you up?" Kyungsoo said in a soft voice. A voice of a kind and loving older brother.

Do Kyungsoo, Yeonhee's brother. He has always been solicitous about the welfare of her sister, his only family. They are like twins, nobody would even think they aren't related because just by seeing them two, everyone would be like, "ah, they are twins." because they look so much alike. People think they are twins, but actually they are not, although by the fact they are inseparable. They would always share the smile of recognizing themselves in each other.

"But I thought you're going home late?" she asked and made a face of dissatisfaction.

"Ya ya ya!" as he poked her forehead, "what's with that face?" he glared at her, his cheeks flushing. He noticed that she suddenly frowned looking back at the stage. He sighed, and rolled his eyes. He felt the affliction of her sister and his weakness? Seeing her sister being drowned in sadness and misery.

He has always been a protective brother to her since the incident that happened in their household 8 years ago that left those two alone together, facing the cruelty the world has to offer. He had made gallant efforts to pull their lives together, having to work at the age of 14 just for her sister to live a normal life. He had to sacrifice his education and own dreams for them to live and face the reality. He had worked all his life, working at a restaurant, but was kicked out not so long after working there because he broke the plates that he was carrying and even had to pay for it leaving him penniless. He had to work at a grocery shop, at a book store, at a convenience store and a lot more places just to earn money. He was able to bring her sister to a private school- which was a good thing, until he learned that Yeonhee was being bullied because she was a poor little girl with no family and only has a brother who was always seen working at every corner of Seoul. She had to transfer school 4 times throughout her elementary years because of bullying. Years of feeling ravenously hungry, empty stomachs everyday, a year full of misfortunes and miseries. He had to endure everything for her sister and it's because he only had her, and she only had him; they only have each other. Not until a big hearted and generous woman scouted Kyungsoo to work at her bar, and not just be a bartender, but he also performed every night; singing for the people.

He wasn't just Kyungsoo, a boy who worked all his life, who had to sacrifice his own happiness, but a person gifted with a golden voice, along with her sister who was gifted with a passion in dancing. With his golden voice that soothed and melted everybody's heart, he joined various singing competitions and won every single trophy and had the enough money for him to go back to school and continue his education. Also with the help of Yeonhee, she also joined numerous dancing competitions and won money prizes that made their lives a lot better, still not a good life, but a better life than before. Although he is 3 years late in school, he still worked-hard and studied at his best. They went through a life of hardships and distress, cried in misery, had to suffer intense pain from the reality; they did everything together. That is why they are inseparable, because they only have each other alongside their singing and dancing.

And after all the years of working non-stop, they were both able to attain scholarship in this prestigious school, School of Performing Arts Seoul, having to study every night, feeling the lack of sleep, and a face that mirrors a skeleton, they were able to achieve it. Kyungsoo is now in his last year before graduating High School, being the oldest among his class just because he is already 22 years old, well, he would have been in his 4th year in college if it wasn't for their misfortunes in life. On the other hand, Yeonhee is in her 2nd year in High School, and turning 18 in a few weeks.

He made a clutch at her body as he clasped Yeonhee in his arms. "Oh my dear little sister asking for her boyfriend" as he let go of her and pinched her cheeks, and Yeonhee frowned deeper, "he said that he would be visiting you later at the apartment as he always does, right? Cheer up, you rascal!" Yeonhee only gave him a faint smile as Kyungsoo pulled his sister and went home.

On the other hand, Jongin only watched her girlfriend with a somber expression from afar and felt strangely subdued as he can't do anything. He can't just go to her and kiss her with so much admiration like the other couples do everyday. He can't just hug her from behind even if he wanted to. He can't just gaze at her like he always does secretly. He can't do anything, just because he can't.
