          "Pierre."

Pierre groaned and turned to his stomach in Azar's comfortable bed. Her fingers curled around his shoulders and he already started to grin when he felt her climbing atop of him, rattling his shoulders, her mouth hovering over his ear and nearly yelling his name before she put her teeth in his neck. His girlfriend is so romantic. "Jesus! Stop," Pierre laughed, turning around underneath her, faced with her pretty face and her perfect being dressed in one of his shirts. "It's Azar actually," she said smugly, and he fake-laughed at the stupid joke. "Come on, I'll show you the best bagel place in New York," she said, leaning down to kiss his lips before she climbed off him and out of bed. He managed to slap her ass before she was out of reach, which earned him a roll of her eyes. They were staying in Azar's apartment in New York before heading to the Grand Prix in Austin. A couple of months have flown by, and he was really happy with her.

Azar managed to find a better balance between her work schedule and her personal life, and she was also happier now, feeling confident in the steps she took, knowing that she didn't need to be booked three times a week by different agents to prove herself, because she had already proven herself. Pierre reached for his phone that was charging on the nightstand, hearing her turning on the shower in the bathroom. A couple of weeks ago, they finished their photoshoot for his knitwear line at AlphaTauri, and the results had been incredible. When they both started teasing the line on their social media, the amount of people signing in to hear from AlphaTauri as soon as the products would be online, was insane. Pierre tossed his phone aside and got up too, making the bed before he opened the curtains. The view from her apartment was incredible, and he loved visiting her here when his schedule allowed him to.

Pierre reached for his clothes, getting in a pair of jeans and a sweater, before heading out to the kitchen to get a glass of water and make Azar her latte macchiato. Azar was done showering meanwhile, her hair still up in a towel when she joined him at the table. "I'm quite hungry actually," she said. "Same," Pierre replied. "It's because we burned so many calories last night." The corners of his mouth curled up in a grin, and she let out a breathy laugh. She was used to his jokes by now, and while they were corny and definitely cringeworthy, she never wanted him to stop making them. "Looks like we deserve a big breakfast," Azar said, unrolling her hair out of the towel and reaching for her cup of coffee. She planned to take him to her favorite bagel place, as she had been craving their specific menu for quite a while already. Azar knew he had been in New York before, but he had never seen it through her eyes, and she wanted him to get the know the special spots (including the metro's with rats).

After she blow-dried her hair and she had her shoes on, they were ready to go. The fall weather had hit the north coast of the United States, meaning that the leaves were starting to fall from the trees and Central Park looked cute and cozy (when it wasn't raining). It wasn't particularly cold, but it was starting to get cold, although they wouldn't notice any of that when they would travel to Austin, Texas in a couple of days time. Azar took him to the bagel restaurant in Midtown, letting him take pictures of her with the ridiculously large bagel orders they took to go. They stopped in Bryant Park to sit down and eat them, after which they continued their walk to Times Square. Azar had to admit, it was far from her favorite place in New York with the traffic, all the tourists, but it was also one of the most buzzing places, and the place where their faces were on one of the largest billboards of the world. "Yo..." Pierre said, pointing at their picture that was looking down on everyone. "That's us!" he said with a smile, taking his phone out.

"It is," she said, looking up with a smile too. It was the picture they had taken together for the knitwear campaign, where she had crawled into his sweater as if they were both wearing it at the same time. The billboard switched to the next photo, where she leaned on his shoulder. It was funny, it was cute, and hinted at the amazing quality of the sweater designed by him and his team. "That's amazing," Pierre said, looking down at her. She felt the warmth overflow her chest, and she was happy he leaned down to kiss her. For some girls the most romantic moment of their lives might be when they get kissed in the rain, or in the snow, or some dreamy place else, but for her, the overstimulating, too loud, too flashy, too touristy Times Square with their picture on the billboard above them, was absolutely perfect.
