It's only been a week and I want to murder Hamage! He is doing my head in! He is living here with everyone else to help protect me and he has no idea what personal space is. I'll just be sat on the sofa eating and he will jump next to me and start talking. I could be in the bathroom and he will stand outside waiting for me, he's like a lost puppies! I head into Parra-Val to spend some time with Charlie as he is staying with Adam till I know he will be safe. Hamage is standing outside Adams house.
"Come on Charlie-bean teach me how to play chess."
"The queen can go AWAYWHERE! The little ones can move 2 spaces on there first move and only 1 after that!"
Charlie explains how the whole game works we play a few rounds. Charlie wins them all since he has been playing this a lot longer then I have. We spend all day playing chess, talking and eating snacks. Charlie asked me about the baby a lot stuff like "where did it come from?" How was it made?" I told him to ask his dad. Once 6pm rolls around I up Charlie to bed tucking him in, planting a kiss on his head. I've done this ever night since he moved in with us. I walk out of Adams house to see Hamage still standing there.
"What are you doing here?"
Hamage- "Looking out for you!"
Sarcastically- "Oh Yes! Because my 5 year old son that has no powers is going to try to kill me.... with a chess set. Hamage Stop It! I'm safe in Parra-Val."
I storm off into the house followed by Hamage!
"STOP FOLLOWING ME! I don't need you around every second of every day!"
Hamage in a calm tone- "I know that."
"Then why are you always around!? All you want is for me to tell Parra-Val that you are my DNA so why do you spend so much time around me.
In a hurt tone, Hamage- "Are you forgetting you are my daughter and I want to know about you! I want to always be around to protect you from Glory and Helena!"
"No you don't want to know me Hamage! And you only want to be around me to protect me to help stop yourself from feeling guilty about teaming up the people that want me dead. You don't care about me! You only care about feeling less guilty!"
Hamage annoyed- "Do you really believe that?"
"YES I DO! I know you, the type of person you are! You have been on earth as long as I have, you have the same powers as me YET you have never done anything to help any one. So why start now?"
Hamage stays silent he looks around the room like he is trying to find an answer. I stamp out of the room towards the kitchen, I grab a bag of spice crips plant my self down on the floor cry and eat my food. Hamage looks down at me.
"I meant what I said to you! It's the hormones that are making me cry not you!"
Ben sees me on the floor crying, I wipe away the tears and smile at him.
"Do you know you make me feel better just by walking through a door!"
Ben lightly smiles- "Are you ok love?"
"I've been thinking about Avery lately. I miss her and she will never get to meet Charlie or the baby."
Ben sinks down to the floor with me. We just sit there together eating spice crips. Ben's face begins to turn red he's now panting. He rushes up off the floor and downs a carton of milk. He makes me smile.
Ben as he is breathing heavy- "I know I could make you feel happier!"
"Your pain doesn't make me happy. It's how fast you drank that milk that made me laugh... ooh maybe drinking milk fast is one of your powers."
Ben- "Yeah maybe! Hamage go to bed or something you have spent the whole day around Ren she must want you dead by now."
"I really do!"
Hamage- "Good night Thena! Ben."
The Tv turns on with a red alert on it! Someone is trying to rob the bank again.
"I have to stop them! Ben.."
Ben interrupts me- "Ren you can't me and Ge-Ge have got this! I promise."
Ben uses his bracelet to transform into his blue suit and Ge-Ge uses Venitai to transform into her dark blue and white suit. Ben teleports them to the inside of the bank. Ben stands in front of the hostage and distracts the three robbers. Ge-Ge jumps behind two of them she creates a ring of fire around them so they can not move. The third robber see Ge-Ge. He pulls out a gun pointing it at her so she he shoots at her at it does nothing. Ben grabs the gun from the man's hands and unloaded it. Ge-Ge uses one of her elemental powers to move the ground around the robbers feet coursing his foot to get trapped in the concrete.
Robber- "Helena is going to be so pissed at us!"
Ben- "Helena? How do you know her?"
Robber- "She asked us to do this for her. Come to think of it I don't know why we did what she said."
Ben let the police into the building. Sam walks inside last.
Sam- "How is she doing?"
Ben- "With her pregnancy not to bad. With Hamage she's finding it hard not to hurt or kill him! We should get home."
Ben teleports himself and Ge-Ge back home. I hurry over to them inspecting every inch of their arms neck face and legs. I sighed in relief not a scratch on then!
"I'm so glad you are both ok! I'm going to go to bed now it hurts to keep my eye open."
