"Mum, why doesn't the sun set?" A blue eyed little girl with mousy brown hair asked her mother, "I wanna see the stars."

"the sun doesn't set for a while, we are so far up north it doesn't set during the summer," the girl's mother explained.

"Did you remember the seven different flowers you had to collect so you can see your future man in your dreams?" the mother asked.

"I did, but I don't want a husband, mum" the girl answered.

"well, maybe you see a beautiful lady then," mother suggested.

"I can have a girl with me?" the little girl wondered, "but it's always a boy and a girl together."

"You can have whoever you decide," the mother smiled.

"Come now my little stargazer, let's go home," the mother continued.

That night the girl saw a beautiful blonde with blue eyes in her dreams. Little did she know how they would meet.

in Finland (and maybe in Sweden, I'm not sure) there are many midsummer spells you can do in the midsummer eve that are supposed to show you your future lover, collecting seven flowers and putting them under your pillow for the night is one of them. there's also few more extreme spells/traditions, like rolling naked on a field.

also I'm really sorry that I deleted "While your lips are still red" I just lost all motivation for that.
