I helped my wounded brother Satoshi stand up, despite his weak and frail self as we needed to analyse our whereabouts. We were lost in the woods and had no idea of where we were. Satoshi was exhausted and in pain, so I was cautious and had to be extra careful as I helped him to his feet. We had to come up with a plan to figure out our location.

We searched for any nearby live sources after walking through the dark and gloomy woods for information. We could see a light in the distance, so we started walking towards it. There were some loud shouts and yelling, although some sounded quite slurred, while others were just plain outrageous.

Our gaze settled on a well-known white-concrete tavern with balconies attached and a pointed wooden roof. Specifically, three. Like the bonnet of a witch, the roof was pointy. There were shrubs and trees all around the bar, and the aroma of the pine forest permeated the air. In front of the tavern were a few benches, and a few people were seated there conversing.

Satoshi and I entered the room and sat down in a shadowy nook after cunningly pulling up our hoods. We started to carefully scan our surroundings out of sheer fear of being recognized. Satoshi and I were referred to as the Pheonix twins. possessing phoenix-like and scorcery-like abilities. The Pheonix sin of Hatred was Satoshi, and the Pheonix sin of Love was me. Though they were twins, the two were total opposites.

A short man, around my height but an inch taller than me, approached us as we were taking our seats. He had short, lustrous hair and a brilliant, shining smile on his face. From under my hood, my eyes grew wide, recognizing the face but refusing to accept it. He then spoke cheerily.

"Hello, you two! You two are visiting my tavern for what reason?" He made a happy speech. My brother was hurt alongside me when I flinched from behind my hood, and I talked lightly after that. "We saw this bar from a distance of a few miles, my brother and I. We had to get some supper because we had been traveling for a while. May I ask what's on your menu?"

"This flavorful, home-cooked chicken stew is our most well-liked menu item. Alternatively, if you're craving something meatier, we have substantial beef stews. In addition, we have mutton chops and a fully equipped bar with a variety of drinks, including ale to help ward off the chill. What will it be, exactly?" His voice was upbeat when he responded.

I asked Satoshi what he wanted as I turned to face him and nodded. And then we both decided we were craving beef stew. When he returned ten minutes later, the man gave us our food. Silently and courteously, Satoshi and I ate under our hoods.

Next, Meliodas spoke "You two look familiar" Then he narrowed his eyes at Satoshi and me. "Now, who are you two?" I removed my hood and gave Satoshi a quick glance. Meliodas glanced from you to your brother and furrowed his brow in surprise. "Hold on a second... How could you not be...?I got up and made a bow. "The Pheonix's Twin Sins. Satoshi and Y/N."Meliodas got up from his chair as well, a big smile spreading across his face. I'll be darned, though. You are the one in question, truly! You should have known who you were immediately, but I believe your hoods confused me. It's been 500 years since I last saw you."

Satoshi and I exchanged glances. I started talking sorrowfully and turned to Meliodas. "We were confined to an unending jail. It was so dark and cold, and I'm not sure who did it. I had no idea how to escape. Or how we managed to escape at all."

The moment Meliodas heard your comments, his visage darkened and his voice became solemn in unison with yours. "A prison for all eternity? Who in their right mind would bring such a terrible fate upon the two of you?" Spooked out, I spoke."I'm not sure. However, we were hurt when we came out, with deep bruises and cuts that were still visible. I was afraid that none of the other sins would recur."

As I thought about Satoshi's and my fate, a tear started to trickle down my cheek. Meliodas moved to gently place a hand on my shoulder, his expression softening as his eyes did. "Hey, hey. Remain calm. We're glad to have you back, and we'll take care of you while you're here. All of us have missed you terribly. I simply find it unbelievable that you and your brother had to endure such a terrible event."

As I wiped my tears, I inquired."B-but, where are the others?" Meliodas scowled. "The rest of the sins and I were banished when you and Satoshi vanished. People were labeling us as criminals. We fled and hid as a result. I've not seen any of them in five hundred years. I am trying to find out information about their whereabouts at this tavern. Diane appears to be in the Forest Of White Dreams." Satoshi started talking, and I exchanged glances with him. "That is where we shall go next, then." All of a sudden, we noticed a pig and heard it speak. I cringed and ducked behind Satoshi as I pointed at the pig.

"IT CAN TALK??!?" I said panicked. It then spoke. "Hey! I've got a name! Insensitive girl. My name is Hawk, the Captain of Scraps Disposal!" I paled as I fell backwards onto Satoshi. I whispered "I-it speaks, it speaks. Is the world dying?" I then fainted.
