Kakashi was lying in his bed. For the first time in a very long time, he slept at home in his bed instead of his office.

You'd think being the Hokage in peacetime would be easy, right? Yeah, that is not the case at all. The papers on Kakashi's desk only get bigger every day. Seriously, at this point, he's not even sure what those documents are anymore.

Luckily for him, he doesn't have to play that role much longer. Since Naruto had finally grown up. Not just physical but also mentally. It's only a matter of time before he takes over, and Kakashi can finally retire.

For now, Kakashi was quietly relaxing as he fantasized about his retirement years, when suddenly he heard a knock on his door. The tired man let out a frustrated sigh as he made his way towards his door. He slowly opened it, and with an indifferent and tired expression, he looked outside into the dark street and saw nothing.

Kakashi was about to close the door, considering it was nothing, most likely a prank, but then heard a small body move. He looked down at the ground to find a little girl slithering out of a handmade basket, probably made for fruit carrying. The ninja had a face purely of shock.

Kakashi took the basket inside, making sure the young child couldn't try to slitter out, as he previously saw. He made his way into the living space and placed the basket on his black couch, Then he noticed a note attached to the child's extra clothes. Kakashi picked it up and opened it, smoothing out the wrinkles so he could read it easier.

Kakashi,

This was definitely unexpected. We only shared a night together, yet we still made a little miracle. It's been a while since we last met, i understand if you are upset. A baby was not what either of us wanted, with our profession... But this is our reality now.

Do you remember what I said once?.. that the Leaf village was just like what I imaged a home to be? the home I never saw except only in the clouds and in my mind... I still think so to this day. And that's why I'm leaving our daughter in your hands.

The Leaf village is the home she deserves, You are the parent she deserves. We both didn't get the love a child needs, and I hope our daughter doesn't have to suffer the same fate... That's why I'm asking, no...begging, please Kakashi give our daughter the happy life she deserves.

Fear not, I have already named her, so you won't have to worry about that. Her name is Yuri.

Hanare.

To say Kakashi was shocked would be an understatement. You want to say that this girl, in front of him.. Yuri...was his?...

Hanare...the girl he helped find her way...

He remembers this day like it was yesterday. She was lost and started to cry and Kakashi found her and carried her on his back, he told her that whenever she was lost, she just need to look at the clouds and they would show her the way.

Later, as she grew older, she was sent to Konoha to collect Intel but was captured by Anbu. Coincidentally, as they escorted her to the village's interrogation room, team seven was strolling around the village. Naruto and Sakura then mentioned a 'beautiful lady' being taken away by the Anbu. As soon as Kakashi saw her, he knew it was her.

Years passed after that, and they met again. It was a few months after Naruto and Hinata's wedding. It's was in the Hidden Village in Sand. Kakashi went there for a diplomatic meeting. He met her by accident while walking around the village at night.

They met, feelings that had been held for years came out, and one thing led to another. Kakashi never thought a baby would come out of all of it. It wasn't that this night meant nothing to him. No, he knew he felt something for her, a feeling he never felt for anyone else. But everything just felt too fast now.
