Lunar looked around, light blue eyes wandering as he followed Monty with Earth behind him. He was awkwardly fidgeting, unsure of what to do. It was strange not being able to hear anything. It made Lunar almost nervous.
Nothing has changed here, it's so bland now that I return to it.
Suddenly he ran straight into Monty's leg, who spun around and whacked Lunar with their tail while they were at it. Lunar flopped over onto the ground, it was cold.
Monty hurriedly picked him up and Lunar struggled slightly, wanting to do it himself but unable to convey that he wanted to do it himself. Monty left him be and he got up on his own, he looked up at Monty and saw the look of nervousness on their face. Lunar's expression softened slightly, he knew that Monty had watched him die, watched the very thing that made him lose his hearing.
Monty was powerless to stop it.
Lunar looked down, then remembered the database of ASL that Monty had given him. He quickly pulled it up and started to try and sign.
'BLAND' He signed, motioning to the place around the three.
Monty turned to Earth, she smiled at Lunar's signing.
'YOU THINK ROOM BLAND?' She signed as she motioned to the room while she talked.
Lunar nodded, Monty laughed from the corner of Lunar's eye, this made Lunar laugh. Earth patted his head and they made it to the daycare doors.
He stopped, Monty and Earth turned to him. Lunar stood there for a second, eyes glued to the floor.
Then he spotted the go-karts, he sprinted over to them as he sat in one. Earth and Monty watched him as he sat in it.
'M-O-O.' Monty paused and then finished 'N.'
Moon.
Moon was here!
Lunar eagerly looked around. Monty gently turned Lunar's head to see Moon.
Lunar got out of the go-kart and darted towards Moon.
Lunar felt himself collide with Moon's leg, he hugged it and nuzzled into it as Moon's hand patted his head.
He looked up at Moon to notice him talking, he turned to where Moon was looking to see Monty talking too.
Earth seemed focused on what they were saying.
Lunar felt so... Lonely.
He tugged on Moon's pants and he looked down at him.
'YES?' Moon signed.
'WHAT SAY?' Lunar signed back.
'M-O-N-T-Y EXPLAIN YOU DEAF.'
Lunar huffed, why didn't Moon just ask him? It was annoying.
'ASK ME.' Lunar signed with a frown.
Moon raised a brow.
'ASK ME I-F DEAF.' After signing, he placed his hands on his hips.
Moon made an 'o' shape with his mouth, he then nodded, kneeling down.
'YOU DEAF?' Moon signed.
'YES YOU HEARING?' Lunar signed back.
'YES.' Moon signed back.
Lunar looked to where Earth and Monty were, but flinched back as he saw that Earth was right beside him.
Earth turned to him, a nervous look as she signed.
It took a minute for Lunar to process as he looked through his ASL file.
She was signing 'SORRY'.
Lunar nodded, looking around.
'WHERE S-U-N?' Lunar signed, Moon looked at the balcony above. Lunar turned to see a figure shaded by the curtains.
He pointed to the figure and signed again: 'S-U-N?' with a tilt of his head.
Moon nodded, 'HURT.'
Lunar made grabby hands towards Sun, trying to tell him to come to him. Sun seemed to get this as his golden eyes traveled around. Then he jumped into the ball pit.
Lunar saw Sun in his entirety, broken and burnt. He felt a wince come out, he hurried to meet up with Sun at the edge of the ball pit.
The small animatronic frowned as Sun began to talk, Moon patted his shoulder and he turned. Lunar saw Moon and Sun talking, Lunar awkwardly fidgeted with his hands. Earth had patted Moon and Sun's shoulders and Lunar looked up.
'SIGN.' She put her index fingers in a '1' position and mimicked two large circles with them. Sun and Moon nodded.
'SORRY.' Sun signed to Lunar, he then kneeled down to him, 'I MISS-.'
Sun's hand then twitched as if it lost control of itself, Lunar gently took his hand and looked it over. Sun pulled his hand away, 'I'M FINE.'
Lunar nodded, 'OK.'
'I MISS YOU.' Sun pointed to himself, then put his finger on his chin, then pointed to Lunar.
'I SPIN YOUR EYE.' Lunar signed, a mischievous smile on his face. Sun stared for a second, before he blinked with wide eyes.
'PLEASE NO.' Sun signed.
'BLACK.' Lunar signed, pointing to each of the three black rays.
'I BLEW E-C-L-I-P-S-E AWAY.'
Lunar gave the biggest look of confusion, he saw from the corner of his eye that Moon was trying not to laugh and Earth was just standing there with a smile.
'I BLEW E-C-L-I-P-S-E UP.' Sun signed.
'HOW?' Lunar curved his hands and touched his knuckles, pointing at his chest with them and then moving them up and down to be right in front of him.
Sun blinked, looking to Earth and Moon.
'HOW SIGN?' Sun signed,
'I DON'T KNOW.' Moon signed with a shrug.
Earth blinked, 'STAR POWER.' She simply signed.
Sun waved at Lunar to catch his attention, 'I APOLOGIZE T-O YOU.'
Lunar raised a brow at him.
'LAST TIME WE TALK.' Sun signed, 'NO GOOD.'
Lunar blinked in surprise, almost laughing, 'I FORGOT.'
Sun sighed with a tired smile, patting Lunar's head.
'WHAT T-O D-O?' Sun signed and looked to the others.
Lunar tugged on Sun's unburned pant leg, he looked down at him.
'P-O-K-E-M-O-N MOVIE.' Lunar signed.
Sun seemed to chuckle at this, signing it back to Earth and Moon, but as a question.
Moon gave a thumbs up and Earth signed 'YES.' with a smile.
Lunar was happy at that moment.
