Lunar stared up at the night sky, wanting to have some alone time. Their vision was foggy as they blocked out all sorts of senses.
He felt numb in his sight, in his touch.
He stared up at the night sky, the stars in particular.
He then felt the tap on his shoulder, he jerked around with wide eyes, snapping out of his trance.
He saw Eclipse.
This time fear didn't overcome him, but he was startled.
'HELLO.' Lunar signed, Eclipse nodded.
'I TRY T-O GET YOUR A-T-T-E-N-T-I-O-N.' Eclipse signed,
'HOW YOU HERE?' Lunar signed,
'E-A-R-T-H.' Eclipse signed, 'YOU GOOD?'
'FINE.' Lunar signed, staring back up at the sky.
'YOU LOOK BETTER.' Eclipse said,
Lunar didn't answer.
'WANT C-O-M-P-A-N-Y?' Eclipse signed,
Lunar shrugged, so Eclipse sat down next to him.
'YOU SURE YOU OK?'
Lunar's hands clenched, everyone was asking him that and Lunar didn't want to talk about it.
'ME FINE.' Lunar signed, staring up at the stars, 'JUST LOOK A-T STARS'
Lunar then saw Eclipse look up at the stars.
'NOTHING COULD HURT ME.' Lunar signed.
There was a beat before Lunar asked:
'HOW YOU KNOW M-O-O-N WAS NOT YOUR?' Lunar signed, eyes half lidded as if tired.
'D-I-F-F-E-R-E-N-T.' Eclipse signed back.
'LOOK SAME.' Lunar countered, 'MUST SOUND SAME.'
Eclipse sighed, chest rising and falling, 'NO.'
There was another beat.
'I HERE FOR YOU.' Eclopse signed, reaching out for Lunar's hand, 'M-O-N-T-Y SAID SAME.'
'SIBLINGS T-O-O.' Eclipse signed.
Lunar moved his hand away,
'I SHOULD STAY I-N SPACE.' Lunar signed, ignoring the crestfallen expression of Eclipse.
'I FEEL SAFE.' Lunar signed.
'LOT O-F BAD T-H-I-N-G-S.'
'I DRAWN T-O I-T.' Lunar signed, 'VOICES.'
'YOU CAN'T HEAR.' Eclipse signed, then realized his mistake a little too late.
Lunar almost looked enraged, he turned away.
'LEAVE.' He signed, he could feel Eclipse's presence still and felt his hand on his shoulder, Lunar whirled around.
He shouted something, he didn't care if Eclipse understood it or what he even said.
Eclipse nodded slowly, standing up and walked away.
Lunar felt the frustrated tears fall, he sat down as he looked to the stars.
