Karan Civilisation:
An "Old Universe" civilisation that built a powerful empire spanning multiple star systems and constructed a ring of star worlds before dying in civil strife. Before its demise, it launched a spacecraft into the centre of the galaxy, from which the samples in the system were taken.
The Observer Civilisation (also known as the Void Civilisation):
An advanced civilisation from the Old Universe that has broken out of the shackles of the Old Universe. It has built the "Strange Drops" craft, broadcasting the news of the coming "natural disaster" to the entire "Old Universe", and has sent observers to enlighten the low-level civilisations. They are the creators of the system.
The Mars civilisation:
An ancient civilisation in the solar system, ruled by an arthropod that resembled a cockroach, which entered the electrical age 3 billion years ago, but failed to evolve to the nuclear age, and over-exploited energy from the Martian underground, resulting in the cooling of the Martian core, the disappearance of the magnetic poles, and the destruction of the ecosystem, leading to the eventual demise of the civilisation.
