Alone in the moonlight, a young man held a letter within his hand. The letter read- "Lusi, you have a choice." "You are free to stay here or you also have the choice of going back into hibernation to wait out that time and see if humanity redevelops itself in the future." Lusi couldn't help but smile. From my home on a tiny island, I smell snow as it begins to fall on the mountains across Baynes Sound. A smell that goes directly up your nostrils with a slight hint of metal or ozone, a bit like refrigerant. And of course I love to confirm my sense with a trip 'downtown' to the General Store. I round the corner just above the Big Hill and catch sight of the Beaufort Range.
