Our Destiny

A/N, so this story may be a bit confusing as LBD has possessed me instead of the girl. So, I will refer to myself as LBD until she hasn't possessed me anymore. Normal text will be her voice, and bold will be my thoughts.

"Hey, has anyone seen Nuwa?" Tang asks, worried

"She asked for a couple of days off, she seems to be struggling a bit with her new ability," Pigsy says

"It's unlike her not to answer my text messages,"

*Meanwhile*

"I had the Monkey King's power. The city was mine! And I still lost!" Spider Queen exclaims while destroying her lair in anger.

I appear out of the darkness, but I look nothing as I once did. As I now know, who has control over me as the Lady Bone Demon? She has taken over my appearance and made it hers.

"My Queen, you will have your revenge. Now that we have the Trigram furnace, it is time to take the next step towards your destiny." My mouth moves, but her voice projects out of me.

Spider Queen is intrigued and listens to LBD's plan. Her eager minion suggests that he should go in her stead and retrieve what they need for the plan.

*At Monkie Kids home*

"What do you mean 'vacation'? MK says as Wukong tosses stuff into his luggage

"Aw, come on, bud, I promised myself when I found a successor, I'd go see some friends and take a tour of my old stomping grounds. Just cut loose, you know." Wukong says nonchalantly

"But... but you can't just leave! What if someone attacks the city? *gaps* What if the Spider Queen comes back?" MK whines

"Ah, you'll figure it out. It's adorable how nervous you are. But don't be! You've come a long way. And you know 'The next step of your journey you must do alone'"

Monkey King makes a quick getaway, leaving MK fuming.

*Back at SQ lair*

"Everything is going according to plan, I should thank you. You know your body makes a more delicious host than that little girl ever could," LBD says calmly as her voice bounces my head.

I groan and grunt, trying to get her out of my head. My head pounds and applies pressure to my temples.

"Uh uh uh, struggling is useless, I have you within my tight grasp and don't plan on letting go anytime soon. So get comfortable. " She giggles and goes back to looking for the location of the next artifacts needed.

A few hours go by, and the Spider Minion returns with the artifact. I can feel the giddiness LBD feels when seeing it, even though her expression doesn't show on her borrowed face. Pulling out the skull key, it shapes the lock and unlocks a hologram of a giant Mech.

"What is this?" SQ asks

"A guide. A pathway to greatness. With this, you will build your revenge one piece at a time. Five more items of power must be collected. And then....we shall forge your destiny."

"I don't like the sound of that. I wish I could warn MK..."

The legendary Demon Mirror was the next artifact that needed to be found. Everyone now and again, she would leave my body as she grew weak while fighting my strong-willed mind. But I was locked in a bedroom deep inside SQ's lair, unable to escape or have access to my phone. I'd meditate. LBD didn't need normal human things such as sleep or sustenance, and my body began to suffer. When she'd leave me to my own devices, my stomach would growl, but as she requested no food, no one came with any. My mind would be racing 24/7, so that made sleep impossible when I had the opportunity to attempt it. I started getting bags under my eyes, and my cheeks were hallowing. But once she returned, my appearance would go back to normal. When she possessed my body, it was extremely painful and cold. I always felt like a thick layer of filth was on and in my skin, but I couldn't shake it off. Floating in the dark abyss of my consciousness was no picnic either seeing everything my body was doing, but having no control over it messed with my mind greatly.
