"Izzy! Hurry up and get in the damn truck!" Bellamy hollered from the truck window.

Today was the day they and the rest of their biology class were meant to go on a trip to a local community college to learn about compost. Bellamy wasn't that excited about that aspect of the field trip, but it did mean they'd be free of classes for the entire day.

The ride to the college and back would be an hour each way, not to mention going through the greenhouse and learning about everything in there to do with compost would take even longer.

Now that was what Bellamy was excited for.

He was fully prepared to wander around at the back of the group and observe all the greenery.

And after they were finished, all Bellamy had to do was ask his sister for the important keynotes she picked up because there was no way she wouldn't be listening to everything and bam, he would be up to date with everybody else.

A master plan some would say, genius even.

Bellamy was still thinking about the trip and tapping his fingers on the steering wheel to a beat in his mind when finally, Bella came stumbling out of the house with her backpack in hand.

"It's about time Izzy. What even took you so long? And please, don't tell me it's because you lost something." Bellamy waited for his sister to hop into the truck before firing up the ignition and backing out of the driveway.

"I couldn't find my bag. I thought I left it in the dining room but it was in your room," she rushed out in one breath.

"Of course you did," Bellamy mumbled under his breath.

Bella was always leaving her crap in his room, it got to the point where he's positive half of the stuff up there was his sister's. Yet, even though she knows she has a habit of leaving things up there, she continuously forgets because she's a scatterbrain.

"Shut up," Bella reached over and whacked the back of his head, "It won't happen again, I'll be careful." It will happen again, there was no doubt about that.

"Oh, Bella, don't lie to yourself now." Again she reached over to hit him, harder this time. "Ow! Could you be any more violent?! I'm driving you know?" Bellamy was being overdramatic now, he had perfect control over the truck and his eyes hadn't left the road once.

"Just drive, Bell." Bella sighed and slouched into her seat, her head tilted to the side as she watched the scenery change from her window.

Neither of them spoke up again after that, the two siblings decidedly enjoying the peaceful silence as they made their way to school.

When they arrived and pulled into the parking lot, the first thing they spotted was the two big yellow school buses and the crowd of students lingering nearby. Bellamy and his sister weren't exactly early, but they weren't late either.
