Lucas Lee immediately picks a fight with Scott. Which doesn't surprise me. I would assume me mocking Matthew would have caused a scene... But we are more like background characters in Lee's life.

Scott starts fighting stunt doubles as I start messing with Wallace.

"I'm I your straight crush? " I ask jokingly as he nods.

"Oh yea. You make me feel slightly straight babe" he says joining in on the joke.

"Wanna go make out and then gossip about boys? " I ask as Matthew suddenly starts eaves dropping.

"Mmm sweetie when don't we do that? Especially when we are at home" Wallace says as Matthew asks us what we are talking about.

"Okay. So like think of it like this. Wallace is my boyfriend. Scott is Wallace's boyfriend. Ramona is Scott's girlfriend" I say with a smirk as he just stands there confused and slightly hurt.

"No- dude she's kidding. She isn't dating me. I'm gay" Wallace says cause it looked like Matthew was about to run away crying. A few moments later Scott walks over with some coins as I just look at him.

"He dead now? " I ask.

"Defeated" Ramona corrects me. We had a meet up earlier today to discuss the whole league stuff. Matthew didn't tell me the full details.

As we make our way down the stairs, I didn't realize it until I slid downwards that I stepped on a small ice patch.

Luckily before I fell and hurt my back, Matthew managed to catch me.

We are inches away from each other.

My face starts to heat up as my checks turn pink. And if Wallace didn't tell us to hurry up, we may have kissed right then and there.

Once down the stairs, Scott is all sad cause Ramona ditched him. She'll return when it's time to go see Envy Adams.

I realized something as I walk alongside Matthew, I slipped on ice. And ice is my ability.

"Hey Matthew, do u ever burn yourself? Like from fire that isn't your own? " I ask as he nods.

"Well yea. Why? " he asks as he cocks his head to the side.

"Hm. Well I slipped on ice. And well I don't usually do that. Normally I'm perfectly fine walking on ice" I state as he laughs a little.

"A step is a lot smaller than an ice road or sidewalk. If anything you can walk normally on ice, but ice can still be slippery to you" he says.

"Ah. Can you walk through fire easier? " I ask as he thinks.

"Maybe. Hey you wanna go our own way? I want to just talk. Me and you" he asks as I nod.

I say bye to Wallace and Scott as Wallace smiles and kisses Scott on the cheek.

"Don't worry. He'll be a good boy for me" Wallace says as I smirk.

Matthew and I start walking one way as he sighs loudly.

"You think Scott can defeat the exes? " he asks as I shrug.

"Yea. I mean he defeated Lucas. Suprisingly. And if he can't I'll fight for him" I say as Matthew looks at me.

"Why did you and Scott break up? " he asks as I smile softly.

"Ah. That's quite the story. When I met him, he took a quick liking to me. He ended up asking me out. We didn't date very long. He met Kim,his other ex, shortly after he asked me out. Neil, my friend, takes pills because he has some slight mental issues. I was at his locker helping him pick up pills he had dropped and when I turned to go see if any were behind me, I saw Scott kissing Kim. So he cheated on me. And he said it was cause I spent too much time hanging out with other people" I say as Matthew stops walking and looks at me. This makes me stop as well.

"He cheated on you for spending time with your own friends? " he asks as I nod.

"That's fucked up. Any lover should respect the fact that the other has friends. Did you really spend more time though with your friends? " he asks as I shake my head.

"My only friend was Neil. And he's two years younger than me. So I think Scott was just jealous that I was nice to him" I say as Matthew looks at me with sympathy.

"Hey. Listen. Even I don't care that you hang out with your friends as much as you do. But the Wallace thing did catch me off gaurd. But I wouldn't leave you in a ditch because of that. I forgot Wallace was gay. Cause you only mentioned he was like one time" Matthew says as I nod.

"Okay. Yea Wallace likes to joke that I'm his... Girlfriend. But he's gay. Like he only like males. He talks a lot of shit" I say with a shrug.

"I like you Y/n. And I don't want to be left to rot again" he says.

"I like you too Patel" I say with a smile.

He pulls me in and kisses me softly. I kiss back immediately. And then we head to his place for the night.
