The attention and detention

It in fact did get worse.

Every hall way I went, every turn I took there was a guy there to greet me either wolf whistling or asking me to meet up with him later. Worse one yet was Cormac.

Disgusting rat.

Me, Mattheo and Daphne were rushing through the halls to the DA classroom and I was thanking the gods it was my last class.

I look a head and realise I've lost them both in the crowd, I stumble past people and notice them up ahead.

"Y/N! Y/N!" someone calls behind me.

Oh for fucks sake. Leave me alone.

I turn around and notice the hallway emptying has a brunette hufflepuff jogs up to me.

He has a massive grin on his face, "Hey it's Y/N right"

I roll my eyes, another bloody twit trying to piss me off.

I feel his hand on my shoulder and my blood boils. How many times do I have to tell these guys to get lost.

"Get your hand off me. Now" I snap as I grip my wand tightly.

"Woah no need to be so snappy, was just wondering if you wanted to hang out some time. You know if you wanted" He slowly looks me up and down and I feel ill, "You can even wear your pajamas if you want".

I take a deep breath and turn my back, I can see Mattheo standing at the door waiting for me.

I've nearly reach the door when I feel the boys hand grab my waist. I see Mattheos face snap but I beat him to it as I ball up my fist, turn and collide straight with his nose

"I said get your hand off me" I say calmly.

"SHIT!" He screams bloody trickling from his now crooked nose, "YOU BITCH!"

Before I can react hes swung his own hand at my cheek, I stumble to the side. I feel hands steady me and see a flash of blonde hair.

"Jesus Christ you good girl?" Pansy asks as I sense her behind me.

I touch my cheeks it's warm but it's not split.
"Yeah I think I am"

"Well he's definitely not" Theodore chuckles.

Infront of us Mattheo is on top of the hufflepuff beating the absolute crap out of him.

"You fucking coward hitting a girl" he lands a tough blow to the hufflepuffs already split lip.

The large crowd that has now formed splits and my stomach sinks as I see Snape and his swishy cape approaching.

"Mr Riddle remove your self from Mr Diggory"

Mattheo continues ignoring Snape.

"Mattheo I'm fine honestly just listen to Snape"
He doesn't get up but he does stop as he leans down and whispers something into the guys ear.

Snape suddenly has Mattheo by the collar and is yanking him up.
His eyes are dark as they shift from the hufflepuff to me to Mattheo then back to the hufflepuff.

"Everyone into class now!" He booms through the corridor.

Within seconds the large crowd is gone including Daphne and the others.

"Mr Diggory did you hit Miss Y/L/N?"

"Sir she.."

"Don't make excuses for your insolent behaviour boy did you hit her!"

"Yes Professor" his eyes or should I say what I can see of them meet mine and I can see he looks scared.

It's only when I feel Mattheo by my shoulder I get it.

" I don't know what happened here but I do know that no students of mine behave like this 50 points from both houses and detention for you all"

"But sir shouldn't they loose 100 they're both from the same house?"

" Miss Y/L/N sis nothing wrong she simply defended herself"

"But sir you said you don't know what happened" the hufflepuff pressed.

I look at Snape and I can see it in his stone cold eyes he knows exactly what happened.

I know I should be concerned he didn't step in earlier but the again the the guy would've never had the shit beaten out of him.

Maybe Snape wanted that.
Ohh that's concerning, though the guy is a creep.

Snape turns to us, "Go clean yourselfs up the return to class, Mr Diggory go to the infirmary"

He turns sharply causing his cape to swish behind him as he enters our dark arts class.

I look back to see the guy half way down the corridor already half limping half running.

I look at Mattheo and realise he has a few cuts and bumps too.

Thank him.

Thank you Mattheo.

No out loud you retard.

I clear my throat but he turns and starts walking back towards our dorms.

I trail behind him as the heat in my cheek becomes a throb.

I following Mattheo up the stairs and watch as he opens his door.

"Hey Mattheo I just wanted to say" the door closes, "thank you".

I am so sorry it has taken me so long life has been super crazy but I promiseeeeee I will try to be more regular nowww. Sorry if this isn't the best I wrote the start of this chapter ages ago and only just finished it and it's late so if the spelling is bad I apologise.

I'm thinking next chapter is gonna be Y/N helping Mattheo clean his cuts what do we think?
