~continuation from chapter 3~
Alice's POV
As soon as he left I heard someone coming up the stairs. I was sure it was my mom and her alone but when she opened the door, HE was there.
"We're going out tonight Alice. Go ahead and do whatever you want." She said it so kindly. He makes her happy? Or is she doing it for his money if he has any? I will never know, but I'll take this offer.
"Ok mom. Have a good time." I tried to act as nice as possible. I would have told her but she wouldn't have believed me. As soon as she walked out the door, i fell asleep.
-The Next Day-
*beepbeepbeepbeep* "ughh" I shut of my alarm and lazily started to get ready. I took a shower, brushed my teeth, dried and straightened my hair, got dressed, and did my make up.
I headed downstairs and grabbed an apple then was out the door. I took a look at my phone and there was a text from Jesse.
Hey babe, are you ok? I read the time stamp, and it was from yesterday. I still responded though.
Yeah I'm fine. My mom was in a good mood and I went to sleep. See you at school. (:
I hopped in my car and enjoyed the ride to school even though I knew it would be a bad day. When I got to school, I saw the populars around Jesse. As soon as Jennifer saw me she started to be all lovey dovey with him. But what did he do? He just stood there. I walked closer and I saw the real truth. He was being forced into it. I went over and did something.
"Get your filthy palms away from my boyfriend!"
"Sorry emo freak, I'm keeping him away from you for Denise." I looked at Jesse and he had no emotion in him except for the sorrow in his eyes.
Jesses POV
I felt bad. I couldn't say or do anything. I just stood there amd it was for her own protection. If I didn't agree they were either gonna rape her or kill her. Denise came up and started kissing me like crazy and Alice just ran away.
~After School~
I was outside waiting for Alice. She hasn't said a word to me all day, but i couldn't blame her. I started walking towards her.
"Alice, please. I need to talk to you and I'll tell you what really happened. Please?" I told her and she just nodded. We took her car since I walked to school today.
Alice's POV
We ended up going to the park and I was curious of what he had to say. I knew he wouldn't do anything like that on purpose so I let him explain.
"I didnt say or do anything because they threatend to do something to you and I couldn't let that happen" He told me that and I hugged him and said, "Its ok." He hugged me again and i saw someone i havn't seen in a long time. I got out of the hug and looked again to make sure it was really him.
"CHASE!"
