Cry for me

Niki sat on the bed while the lights were completely shut off, and his mind wandered aimlessly without knowing what his present thoughts were thinking. He had his knees brought up to his chest while his head was lowered. The boy blinked a couple of times, thinking back to what he saw.

He saw Taki and his 'new' boyfriend. The way his new boyfriend held his hand l, just the same way he held his before. It gave mixed emotions, Though he knew Taki was over him, he still felt pain after the break up. "Why did you leave ?" Niki questioned as he spoke to himself. "Was I really being an idiot ?"

Their relationship was strong until it fell when a mistake happened. Niki made the wrong move, and it crashed his love relationship. Niki quickly grasped for the picture frame that contained a photo of him and his ex. The male observed the picture for a minute until he released a sigh.

He placed the picture back on the nightstand, and the male threw himself back against the wall, which led him to feel frustration. When he was like this, Taki would be there by his side, but now he was gone, away from him.

Later, as time passed by, the male decided to get out of his bed. He took a stroll down the street. Of course, it was dark, but that didn't scare him. His image now seemed gloomy as if he mourned for someone dead. The male kept his hands in his pockets while his gaze was up.

The male kept his hood over his head. Then, from across the street, there were a few shops and food places. Niki sighed, crossing the street to reach the other side. The male continued to walk forward, where he was about to enter the small catering place until the door opened. There stood Taki and his new boyfriend.

They held hands while with his boyfriend's other hand held the door for Niki. The male gulped and felt his heart shattered. He saw the way Taki avoided him, not even caring to say a simple 'hi'. It felt a punch to his gut, but what could he do now ? He loved seeing Taki happy, but now someone else gave him happiness, not him. "Thanks." Niki mumbled softly. He could barely hear himself, though he probably would've sounded broken rather than normal. The male was already inside watching the view of his ex with another. He didn't move. Instead, he felt a tear roll down his cheek. Immediately, he wiped it off. Not wanting the people around him to see him.

He turned back to the doors and left. He could help but let more tears slip from his eyes. The pain just got harsher than the first time he felt it.

He stomach felt pain too, so he decided to go back home instead of eating at the catering place. On the way back, he kept his head hung low. It hurt him that he felt stupid for letting his angel go.

Now, his mind would not let him relax even if he wanted to pretend to not see Taki. When he got back home, he returned back to his bed, where he spent most of the time. It was hard for him to get over his ex, even if it was not long ago that they had broken up. He called his friend for confort, and they chatted for hours.

"Jake hyung, can you please come over and stay with me ?" He finally begged. "I feel lonely and don't know what to do anymore.."

"Don't worry, Niki, I'll be there." His friend reassured. "Thanks, hyung." Niki said, sniffling.

As soon as Jake had arrived, he knocked on the door. At first, Niki couldn't hear it because he was locked up in his own room with his thoughts until the second time he heard the knock get louder he quickly got up to open the door for his friend.

"Is everything alright ?" Asked the older. The younger stood silent while letting his emotions speak for him. Niki could feel a tear rolling down on his check while he felt his heart shatter into a million pieces. "H-hyung.. I can't forget him. " he finally managed to say. "I tried to distract myself, but it isn't working....then I see him with someone e..else."

Jake listened as Niki spoke, yet he could feel the same emotions he felt. The male pulled the younger into a deep hug, "It's okay, it's not easy to let go of someone you love."

Niki finally let his emotion out as he cried harder onto Jake's shoulder. Jake patted the male's back as he let the other release his emotions he was holding in. The smaller felt tears brimmed in his eyes because of how bad he felt for Niki. It broke his heart that he decided to confort him in the meanwhile.

"K, I'm going out." Taki yelled from the lounge room. K was in the bedroom on his phone. While Taki grabbed his car keys, K came by the hall, walking in. "Where are you going ?"

"I'm going to drive around for a little while." The boy said as he placed his phone in his pocket. K didn't say much other than placing a kiss on his boyfriend's lips. "Drive safe, alright?"

While Taki finally had started the vehicle, he drove away. While it was night, the view was actually better and relaxed to see when driving in the day. "This is going to be fun!" The male said to himself.

He did a few turns, going back around town in a circle. This was a way Taki passed time when he would have nothing to do when he drove by a specific house. He saw his ex.

Taki slowly drove by, observing him. There, he saw Niki but with another. He couldn't see who it was because it was dark. They both made their way inside the house without knowing that Taki was watching them. Since it has been years before, Taki didn't drive.

His boyfriend took him back home and to places where they had fun dates. Seeing Niki with someone else made him curious. Was that boy a friend of Niki, or was he actually more than a friend?

He parked on the curbside, where he also made sure he wasn't in the way of other drivers. He quickly walked to Niki's house.

Finally, when he reached the house, he looked through the windows. However, there was no one with the exception of darkness. The male furrowed his brows, not understanding the context.

The make went straight up to the door. Surprisingly, it was left open. which made it easier for him to enter without needing to find a way to get in. He couldn't help but know what Niki and the other boy were up to. He walked in, seeing darkness.

Just then, there was a thud. Taki flinched, immediately looking for a place to hide. Before he could find a place, it became dead silent, making him question himself. He walked up the stairs where he heard the noise. He saw Niki's bedroom door slightly open. He heard sensational noises. It made the male feel a cold shiver run down his spine, feeling a weird feeling.

He crawled near the opening, with no hesitation, his jaw dropped. Not believing what he saw.

Two bodies colliding in bed

"You're doing good Jakey, such a good boy." Was all he heard from his ex while he heard his own best friend moaning beneath the younger male.

And now he felt betrayal from his best friend. "Jake....why??" The male cried silently, not understanding why he felt a certain way seeing his best friend with his ex. The male crept away silently, wanting to forget the scene he had witnessed.

Finally, he left the house and drove back. The door opened, "Baby!" K said as he hugged Taki."How was the drive?"

The male felt weak, both inside and out. He didn't want to tell K the truth of him feeling upset because of his ex. "I..I'm fine." He managed to say. K raised a brow in response. "Are you alright?"

Taki nodded. "Of course, I was listening to a sad podcast while I was driving," he lied. Even though it wasn't true, K didn't bother questioning about it.
