"I'm not going anywhere." I firmly stood my ground.
"I don't think you really have a choice," Cletus said. "I know everything about you."
"Then you'll know I keep a harpoon gun in my-" I was cut off.
"Back pocket? Yeah. I know." Cletus seemed unfazed by this fact as if he didn't even care about the impending danger.
I reached my hand behind me, fishing around, but at no avail. "Crap. Must've forgotten it at prom... in Siberia."
"What?" Cletus smirked again, looking like a cocky, arrogant asshole. "You forgot it?"
I pulled my hand out of my pocket just to throw it forward into a fierce middle finger.
"Oh! Stubborn." He purred, "I like it."
I blushed harder. "Oh? So you'd like it if I stabbed you then?"
"I like a good challenge," Cletus replied. "Now come on, Evelyn. Forget about those freaks. You belong with me now."
