Y/N Powers Takes Off (SPTO x Male reader)

So it begins

Y/N finally woke up, to say he didn't sleep well would be an understatement. He sat up on the couch, rubbed his eyes and looked around.

The house was quiet, seems like Julie had already left for work. Y/N wasn't feeling too well so he decided to get up and do something about the headache he was having. He grabbed a bottle of water and made some tea in a teapot.

Afterwards Y/N just sat at the kitchen table in silence, which was occasionally broken by him sipping his tea. He was trying to recall the events of the previous night when suddenly he was interrupted by the sound of footsteps coming from the stairway

It was Kim, she walked into the kitchen and even though she did in fact sleep last night, it's safe to say it looked like she didn't.

"W-Water" was the first thing she could muster out of her lips before sitting down at the table opposite to Y/N

Without much thought he brought her a glass of water and a pill to help with the extreme headache she was probably having

Kim took the pill and emptied the glass of water. After that they both just sat around in silence for a while before Y/N decided to ask

"Do you want some tea?" To which Kim responded

"Yes please..." She clearly sounded hungover and exhausted

Y/N went to grab a cup and filled it up with some hot tea straight from the teapot. He went ahead and placed it in front of Kim

The redhead began to gradually drink the tea sip by sip.

"Hey Y/N... Thank you. Thank you for what you've done for me" Kim spoke up after a while. Her voice still sounding rough due to the hungover

"You mean the tea and stuff? It's no problem really" He said while getting up to wash his cup

"No... I mean like, thank you for taking care of me last night. I appreciate that a lot" Kim said giving Y/N a weak smile

"Hold up" He turned around from the sink and faced Kim. "So like... you remember what happened last night?" Y/N panicked a little bit internally, remembering what he did last night.

This made Kim give him a 'are you serious?' look.

"Of course not dumbass, I just figured out that I didn't magically teleport to your bed" She explained

"OOOOh yeah, I guess you're right" Y/N chuckled while rubbing the back of his head, a moment of silence followed

"Sooo... would you like some breakfast, you know since you're already here" Y/N suggested

Kim turned here eyes away and thought about it for a second.

"Eh, sure why not"

An epic cooking montage follows. Some eggs are getting broken into a bowl, flour and milk being poured into two separate cups. The stove turning on and a pan being placed on it.

"Voilà" Y/N says as the montage concludes with him placing a plate of buttermilk pancakes in front of Kim

The pair can be seen eating their breakfast when Kim remarks

"Those are actually some really good pancakes"

"I know right, my mom taught me how to make them." Y/N takes another bite before adding "Pancakes are one of my favourite foods, I could honestly eat them for every meal or just eat them all the time without even stopping"

"You'd get fat" Kim says slowly regaining her usual tone and attitude back

Y/N thinks about it for a while, looking at his now half-empty plate
