Scott Pilgrim: Neil gets a girl!

I sit next to Neil as I watch him play on his DS. I had always liked the boy. And with us being the same age... Unlike Scott's new girlfriend... I'm surprised he never showed an interest in me.

Then again it's not like I should count on him for liking me the way I like him. He's very... Special. But in a good way.

"So she's 17? And you are 22? Listen Scott. I'd hate to tell you this but she's still a minor, and that age gap is not good for you" I say as I continue to watch Neil play his game. He's playing Tetris. Usually, when I'm not watching Scott buy stuff with Wallace's credit card, or sleeping on a shared mattress with said people, I'm over at Neil's house. A LOT. Then again he is my best friend.

Neil uses to live here, in Stephen's house. Till Stephen decided to help Neil out and get his own place.

Neil lives just down the street. It's amazing really. A quick walk and I'm at his house playing Zelda all night with him.

"I'm not 28 Kim. I'm 22" Scott says as I realized I had zoned out. Since I was leaning over Neil's shoulder slightly,i move away. I missed part of the conversation. Not surprised.

Neil looks over at me since I had moved away from him so quickly.

"What's her name then? " Stephen asks as I take a sip of whatever Neil is drinking. He could care less.

And he's drinking Pepsi.

"Knives Chau. She's Chinese" Scott says as Neil and I fist bump.

"Wicked" we say at the same time.

A knock is heard at the door as Scott and Stephen go over to it. Suddenly there is a young Asian girl being escorted to the couch in the living room. Of course Neil and I follow as we sit down on one of the couches as well.

"What do you play? " Knives asks Neil.

"Zelda... Tetris... That's kind of a big question" he says.

"He plays spin the bottle with me" I say teasing him as Knives gasps dramatically.

Neil's face turns slightly pink as he just looks over at me.

"More like you asked me to play and then couldn't find a bottle" he says adding on to the joke.

"Guys keep it up and I'll have Wallace and Y/n play spin the bottle" Scott says as I roll my eyes.

Kim suddenly yells "we are sex bob-bomb" as they start playing.

"Want me to find a bottle later? " Neil asks me as I give him a look.

"What at the party? To bring home? Just to throw it away? " I ask as he shakes his head.

"Not to throw it away. I- um. You know what yea cause people need to recycle" he says.

It's almost as if he was hinting at something and then wanted to change the subject.

I end up saying bye as Scott and I head to our apartment. Scott immediately tells Wallace about Knives as he smirks.

"Is he cute? Does this mean we have to stop sleeping together?" Wallace asks.

"Do you see another bed in here?" I say.

"Oh yea. You're totally my bitch forever. Also I'm already losing sweet Y/n to Neil. However shall I recover? I'm kidding. Or am I? Y/n woman up and ask him out before I ask for you" Wallace says as Scott laughs and shakes his head. They know about Neil. They been knowing.

Later on we head to the party. We meaning everyone but Wallace and Knives.

I'm standing with Neil and Scott as Scott says he has to pee.

"I got to pee as well" Neil says.

"Im going with you" I say.

"To the bathroom? "

"Yea it's pee time. I drank a lot of soda" I said as he nods and grabs my hand.

We wait for Scott to finish peeing. Then he says he's going to scan the place for someone. Neil and I shrug as Neil allows me to go to the bathroom first.

"Nah bro. What if some tries to abduct you" I say as he nods.

So as I'm peeing he is trying to fix his hair at the mirror.

"Hm. You think I need a haircut Y/n? " he asks me as I shake my head no.

"I like it the way it is. It's cute" I say as he nods and smiles.

"Okay you almost done? " he asks as I motion for him to cover his eyes.

My shirt at least covered my down there entirely. But now that I'mma stand up I do not need him seeing.

We head out as Scott grips Neil's shoulders.

"She's real! " he says.

"Who? " I ask.

"The girl of my dreams" Scott says.

"Fantastic. The girl of my dreams is real as well" Neil says.

So he likes someone? Who does he like? Why didn't he tell me? Probably cause I'd tease him. He probably sees me as a sister.

Later on I just head to my apartment for the night.
