Scott Pilgrim: Neil gets a girl!

"Guess who's drunk! " Wallace asks as he busts through the door an hour later. Scott and I slowly sit up half awake.

"I guess Wallace" I say.

"You guessed correctly! " he says as Scott mentions Ramona to him.

Suddenly he gets a call, probably from his sister Stacey as I mess with Wallace's hair.

The next morning Scott orders something off of Amazon just to see Ramona as I start texting Neil.

Me: hey cutie! Sleep well?

Neil: morning!!! I dreamt of aliens :D

Me: how silly!!! Was I in your dream???

Neil: duhhhh!!! You was helping me defeat them!!!

Me: XD

Neil: Battle of the Bands is soon!!! You gonna come?

"Gimme your phone" Wallace says as I shake my head no.

"It's time for me to text Neil" I say.

"I pay for your data. Gimme phone" he says as I sigh.

Wallace doesn't like Scott and I using tons of data.

I just decide to take a walk to Neil's. I ended up sleeping over and the next evening, I'm still there as he is trying to get ready for the battle.

"You like this shirt better than my other one? " he asks.

"I like you without a shirt on. I mean uhhh. What? " I say with a smirk as he rolls his eyes.

"I'm aware but I don't need other girls seeing me without one" he says.

Later on we are at the place of the battle.

I head backstage with Neil as he looks at me.

"Are we actually going to makeout?" He asks as I shrug.

I would be down. But I can't tell if he's serious. I'd love to kiss him though.

"If you want" I say. I wasn't expecting him to actually kiss me.

His soft lips collide with mine as we makeout for a few good minutes. We were interrupted by Scott opening the door to tell us Neil needs to head on stage with them and shit. He doesn't play, he's backup.

Scott however stood there stunned for a few good seconds as Neil pretends like we weren't doing anything at all.

"Morning Scott" I say as he reminds me it's night time.

I head up to the balcony as I sit next to Ramona.

Scott introduced me to her earlier today.

"Hi! " I say as she says hi.

"So. I'm so sorry Scott annoyed you when dropping his package off" I say as she smiles.

"It's fine. He decided to be with me. He deals with the consequences" she says as Knives yells that Sex Bob-Bomb is on.

As they play the song "Garbage Truck" I tell Wallace about what Neil and I just did.

He looks away from Jimmy and gives me a thumbs up and a smile.

Suddenly a Gothic pirate burst through the ceiling and starts fighting Scott. Then quickly after we all learn it's Ramona's ex named Matthew Patel. Or in my eyes, my new best friend. Aside from Neil. I rush down and hand Matthew a piece of paper to which he takes a quick glance and shoves it in his pocket.

Matthew starts singing and is suddenly launching fire at Scott. And he has demon hipster chicks. Damn he has his own gossip girls.

I hurry and pull Neil to the side as Scott defeats him. He'll probably spawn somewhere else.

I look at Neil who looks completely scared.

"Okay let's get you home" I say as he nods.

Once we are at his house he looks at me.

"You do know I actually like you right? " he asks as I feel my face start to heat up.

"Well you are my best friend-"

"No. I mean I have a crush on you. Er well. I'm in love with you" he says as my eyes widen.

Oh. OH.

"I um... " I go to say as he cuts me off.

"And I know you feel the same. You aren't slick. Though Matthew Patel might be slick. I think? " he says as I shrug.

The next day I enter the apartment as Jimmy exits the bathroom.

"Hey! Double standard! " Scott whines as Wallace mentions him needing to move out.

"Well what about Y/n? I'm surprised she hasn't moved in with Neil yet! " he asks as I smile.

"Oh but I may be soon anyways. I mean don't couples usually live together? " I ask as Wallace drops the cup he is drinking from.

"I'm sorry what did you just say? " Wallace asks as Scott stands up fast as fuck.

"MY CHILD HAS GROWN" Scott yells as Wallace jumps up and down.

"Yippie!!! Jimmy go fetch the champagne! Well. Nah. Y/n doesn't drink" Wallace says as Scott receives a call.

Wallace answers the door a moments later as Scott legit jumps out the window. His intrusive thoughts have won. That's when Wallace asks me to go see Lucas Lee with him.

And I say yes.
