Jimin woke up to the smell of pancakes and bacon, and it made his tummy growl. Another delicious 'home' cooked meal he's missed having. And weirdly, he felt a sense of relief that Siri was back home.
He groggily sat up, hissing at the pain in his ribs and around his neck. "Oh, you're awake!" Siri says as she makes him a plate, filling it full of pancakes and fruit. Jimin takes a seat at the small dining table and smiles weakly at Siri as he tries to wake himself up a little more.
"How'd you sleep?" Siri asks him as she places the plate of food in front of him before taking a seat opposite him. "I know my couch isn't the most comfortable, and with your bruises it would've been even more uncomfortable." She gives him a guilty look, "I'm sorry, I should've placed you on my bed but–"
"No, no! Don't apologise!" Jimin interrupted as he waved his hands. "I was fine. Really. I was so tired I slept like a log. Didn't even get a quarter of the way through the book." He gave Siri a sweet smile with sincerity in his eyes and Siri nodded to accept.
"Thank you for breakfast, by the way."
"No problem," Siri smiles. "It's quite nice cooking for someone. I don't get to do it often."
Jimin gets a little pinch to his heart as he understands that Siri meant she was quite lonely here by herself since she no longer had Namjoon.
"Does that mean you do get to cook for someone sometimes?"
Siri nods as she swallows her mouthful. "You know Seokjin, right? Namjoon's older brother?" Jimin nods as he takes a mouthful of his food. "He visits me from time to time to see how I'm doing and checks up on me since he's my doctor. Sometimes his wife comes too and she brings me her yummy apple pie." Siri smiles warmly at the thought and it makes Jimin feel a little better knowing Siri wasn't one hundred percent alone.
Mind you, he was never one hundred percent alone either when he had Jungkook by his side, but he still felt lonely. He knows Siri would've felt the same because it was their hearts that were lonely.
