"H-Hello, do you wanna be friends?"

"Ahh!!! Run!!"

"Huh? Wait! W-Why are you....running?"

*****

"I need to kill someone?!"

You looked at the young boy in shock. The boy shrugged at you.

"If you're really unlucky, then yes. You may need to kill someone"

You stayed silent at his words and frowned in thought.

Can I really kill someone?

I've never killed someone before

Or maybe I did, since I've lost my memories after all

The little boy saw you frowning and assured you.

"Don't worry, I'm sure you're not that unlucky. Now hurry up and choose, time is ticking"

You sighed and mumbled.

"Sometimes you don't feel like a kid at all"

The boy smiled innocently at you.

"What do you mean? Of course I'm a kid"

You decided to ignore him and look at the two options again.

Hmm.... One Piece sounds simple enough?

One Piece it is then

You press on the words 'One Piece' on the blue screen and it immediately changed.

Assigning your mission....

Mission: Kill the 'main character'

Rewards: -A portion of your memories
- 500 points

Failure: Death

You stared at the blue screen in front of you silently. Especially the word 'death'.

"So what did you choose?"

".....One Piece"

"And your mission?"

"......."

You didn't respond to his question and avoided his gaze. The young boy blinked at you in confusion when you didn't say anything but then understood. He also fell silent.

The atmosphere fell into an awkward silence for a few seconds then the boy shook his head.

"As expected. Well then, let's get going"

You turned towards him and noticed his expression. He did not seem surprised.

Really suspicious

"Just press the same button that got you here to leave"

You nodded your head and did just that.

Two figures appeared in the middle of a street. The amount of people walking by were still the same. You raised your head to look at the night sky. It was a magnificent sight. Twinkling stars were spread all over the sky. However, there is one particular star that catches your eye. It was a red star that shines brighter than the rest.
