"Noah! Follow quickly!!" A cheerful voice of a child shouted from a distance away. Looking around, Noah found himself on a beach he used to visit during his childhood. It was situated in the countryside where his maternal grandparents used to live.

Looking in front he saw strangely familiar child who was smiling brightly at him. Her facial features were a bit vague but that didn't prevent from him concluding that the child was a cute little girl. However, abruptly the scene changed and a soft voice sounded, "You promise, right?"

Before he could determine the person speaking, a splitting headache woke him up with a jolt. His body was soaked in cold sweat and his head was bursting with pain.

Taking a while to stabilize, he looked around the room, and was momentarily dazed. It was empty and slight rays of morning sun were now brightening the room through the thick curtains. The expected person was not there anymore.

Yes. He did remember the previous night. The uncontrollable desires and the tangled warm body under him. Though all felt like a dream now, he knew it was not. The scratches on his back were hurting after all. Chuckling a bit, he got out of bed to freshen up. He had many other things on hand to do besides finding that girl.

After all, the rats under his nose were now becoming restless.

Just then, the phone on his bedside table rang up. It was his personal secretary. Seeing that name he couldn't help but feel somewhat vigilant. Yesterday's meeting at the bar with an important client of his business was a fairly confidential affair. Except for his secretary, nobody could've known about it even through underhanded methods as the client was a one of the underground mafia lords. Thinking about that, suspicions were bound to arise. However he hesitated taking immediate action as he knew the guy well. He wasn't one of those stupid rats that couldn't hide their tracks after doing something.

Picking up the call, he stated in a hoarse voice, "Ronald. You know what to do." The person on the other side decisively answered, "Yes sir." After hesitating a bit he still continued,"And....the information leakage was found to be from the client's side." Noah sighed and replied, "Alright. Don't worry about it. Just do what you're supposed to. And find about a girl. Her name....I believe was Helena. A pair of blue eyes....keep that in mind for recognition." He felt his head throbbing more and just cut off the call.

Around at 10 am he reached his company.

One of the most influential and powerful business company- HS corporations. The headquarters built in the hotspot of markets - Y city, it was a fairly equipped, and high standing building giving off an aura just like the owner- decisive and ruthless. The infrastructure was completely disaster resistant; making it one of the ten ideal structures found in the whole country.

Stepping out of his car, he went straight towards the elevator meant to be used by the ones with high authorities. Ronald, his personal secretary, was waiting right in front of his office door with a pile of documents that needed urgent attention.

Noah stepped into his office and began another hectic day with a terrible hangover that was yet to be cured.

Meanwhile, somewhere in a dark and full room, a pair of sparkling blue was staring into space.

The previous night....seemed unforgettable yet depressing. Her mouth slightly opened and out came a beautiful enchanting melody like a caged bird singing for her snatched freedom.

Body full of passionate marks, she sang in a daze; not knowing what she was thinking about at all.

Some dreams....are just meant to be left as dreams. She knew that as a fact. She also knew the pain one would suffer while giving up. Indeed....with her broken soul and body...she had long given up. Hopes and wishes were now just mere words for her. But....it was fine. Accepting her fate was hard, terribly painful, and extremely disgraceful but she was still fine.

She had to be.

After a long day at work, Noah finally let out a breathe of relief and relaxed on his chair. His temples were throbbing painfully while his eyes were on fire and completely bloodshot. He just wanted to find out those damn rats and crush their necks one by one.

" Knock knock" the office door was suddenly knocked upon.
