23.Chapter

Jungkook and Namjoon barely get alone moment where they can communicate peacefully. They attempted to talk more than professionals but would be interrupted by an annoying employee or a mischievous Taehyung and Jimin. Poor Jungkook had to convince himself with a silence glance and smile from Kim Namjoon.

Iseul doesn't have to make much effort to convince her family, as Kim Taehyung belongs to a fancy and rich family. They admitted that they're proud that Isuel has chosen to date a gentleman like him and finally ready to get married.

Who would be such a bad person who would persuade someone to marry the son of that family? Her parents were pleased to meet Kim Taehyung and were wondering if Tae could select a date so they can speak to his father and brother.

Just two days later, Namjoon asked to invite his then-soon-to-be in-laws to dinner to portray about the wedding of their daughter and Kim Taehyung.
The day after, Namjoon called Iseul to inform that they had fixed the date of his engagement.

Obviously, Iseul parents had no issues so they also agreed to the engagement date.

Jungkook didn't believe on his eyes when Taehyung arrived at his doorstep to invite him with his family members to his engagement party. Jungkook's mother welcomed him and offered tea and snacks, which Taehyung didn't refuse even though he doesn't drink tea.

Taehyung was staring at Jungkook when he's father sitting in the wheelchair was speaking about Jungkook's marriage as well. That they also are on search of a nice girl for him to get married and settle in life.

Taehyung was staring at him while giving warnings, and Jungkook appeared nervous. Assuming what would happen or his parents will react if he revealed about him and his bro?

Jungkook rubbing his neck, shook his head pleadingly.

Taehyung winked at him and then smiled. He was kidding, thankfully. He left when he was tired of waiting for Jimin to arrive so he can also invite him personally, but Jimin was busy in shopping so he had just given up. So Taehyung requested them to bring Jimin with them as well.

Jungkook breath in relief.

Then suddenly he decided to tell them about it, so he went to the kitchen first, where his mother was cooking. He didn't point out it directly, instead he said.

" Mom... My friend also has invited me to his wedding and I don't know what to gift them. Can you suggest me something? You know they're both boys."

Mrs. Jeon Eyes widened and looked at her son, who was waiting for her response. Jungkook was holding his breath.

" What do you mean boys? That's bizarre. And which friend you're talking about? You didn't tell me ever you had this kind of friend?"

Jungkook breath out as it wasn't the horrible response he was assuming.

He began playing with his fingers.

" He's my colleagues and I didn't ever talk about him because you do despise him because he's homosexual. Yes. That's why I never introduced or invited him before."

Mrs. Jeon raised his eyebrows.

" Kookie . I don't despise them. It's just weird. How can a boy likes a boy? I really don't get it. I mean how?"
