"It just has a small scratch in the front, that does not matter I can get it fixed anytime" he seemed really chill about it as if it was just his phone case that got damaged
I watched as the nurse was injecting a syringe, Dheer had a careless face expression, I have seen him in many edits on reels about how calm he stays during critical situations but once he gets angry he's goddamn Lucifer and stuff
"Uf, I have an upcoming basketball tournament TOMORROW, I really need to be a part of it, me and my friends practiced a lot for the match"
Dheer just looked up squeezing his eyes and then stood up scratching his head as if he did something dumb
"Ok so how long will it take for the fracture to be cured"
The nurse replied saying that it would take up to 3 to 4 months
"Okay, you don't need to worry about the tournament I will sort a way out so that it will be held after 5 months I guess that time is enough for your leg to be cured"
Kriti did not say anything instead she just looked at me
"You can't just cancel the match that is held tomorrow, there are many other schools from different states that are a part of this tournament they must be practicing a lot for this specific day, and also think about the students who have travelled from different states to Bangalore, do you really want them come here and go back as a waste of time?" I did not hesitate replying to his mindless answer
"I agree with what you are telling but there is no other choice in our point of view for other's sake right?"
"You know what, just leave it"
Kriti then turned towards Dheer
"Everyone makes mistakes, that's alright we can't fix anything anymore there is no use of arguing, right Cauniq?"
"Universal truth"
Well yeah, Universal truth... She was right although I wanted Dheer to get in trouble for some goddamn sake, there's nothing we can do about it so I should probably just leave Dheer alone, he has nothing to do about it anymore
