1st world- Ichika's locked memories

The mysterious spirit had spotted the cat system and she couldn't help but smile slightly "and she's also got a guide making sure she's going down the right path" the spirit said

"Huh a guide" shinichi said as kitty gulped realizing who the mysterious spirit was "I'm sure everything will be fine gotta go now" the spirit says as she disappeared into Ichika's body

Later

The sun showed and they were on their way "so Ichika could you tell me a story" Ayaka said making Ichika look at her confused

"I don't know I'm not exactly one for telling stories" Ichika said rubbing her chin "but..." Ayaka said with a small frown on her face

This made Ichika sweatdrop 'damn it...why am I being persuaded by the puppy eyes' Ichika thought to herself as she cleared her throat

"I suppose I could think of an interesting story to tell...I think I remember reading a story when I was younger" Ichika said as she looked away awkwardly

Tomizoro and shinichi walked ahead as Ayaka listened intently Ichika cleared her throat once more "I'm a bit rusty so I might not remember the whole story correctly" Ichika said

"That's fine" Ayaka said as Ichika started the story "a long time ago there was a little girl who was without a name...she was all alone" Ichika said

"She was always hoping and wishing to have a family that would cherish and love her as she was...but her life was cursed to live in misery" Ichika said sadly

Shinichi heard this story before and he became shocked having heard this when she still had her memories he became convinced the spirit was telling the truth

"She would get fostered and then thrown away like trash every time she thought her life was always going to be filled with misery" Ichika said

"How sad" Ayaka said with a frown "it gets worse before it gets better I'm afraid" Ichika said as she felt her memories terrible flooding into her head

"She was kidnapped and experimented on experiencing hell worse than death... but she couldn't help but wonder why she was brought into this world if all she was meant to get was pain and anguish" Ichika said

"Finally she decided she had enough and escaped the horrible lab and gave herself a new life...one where she could live free from the people who caused her pain...she lived happily till the end of her life" Ichika said

Kitty: "that's so sad host...I had no idea you experienced such painful things" kitty felt worried about Ichika

'Don't be silly why would that be a story about me' Ichika spoke in her mind to Kitty as her eyes darkened "I feel empathy for the girl" Ayaka said suddenly

This made Ichika look at her surprised "I too felt like I was trapped having had no experience in the outside world...but now here I am out of my father's care and traveling with friends" Ayaka said

"Friends?" Ichika said feeling a bit confused "we're friends Ichika after all how could we not be...you were alone once weren't you haven't you had friends before" Ayaka said

Ichika could only stare at Ayaka in silence as she felt like Deja vu as Ayaka grabbed her hand "I want to help you from your lonely life can I be your friend" Ayaka said

Ichika's eyes shrank back having remembered a sad memory about Maria on the ground dying saying the exact same things Ayaka said

"Stop" Ichika said pulling her hand out of Ayaka's grasp "I don't need friends I'm meant to be alone..." Ichika repeatedly said these words to herself

The spirit inside Ichika could only shake her head with a sigh 'fearing the unknown can only get worse if you don't know how to face it' the spirit thought to herself

Kitty: "host...your starting to worry me by acting depressed like this.......... your not all alone you have me" kitty purred as she rubs herself against Ichika

Ichika felt her eyes dim but a hand went on her shoulder making her look up at shinichi "nobody should be alone...if you need someone to depend on...I'll lend you a hand" shinichi said

Memory fragment unlocked...

'What...memory fragment?' Ichika thought to herself as she started to have a Flashback

She was back in the cage and she had a dark look in her eyes "hey" kid shinichi said getting Eve's attention "I know you probably hate me right now" he said

"But...nobody should be alone...if you need someone to depend on...I'll lend you a hand" shinichi said as Ichika felt some hope in her heart

She turned to look the other way "whatever" Eve said as her face shadowed but she could feel herself smile slightly

End of Flashback...

"You..." Ichika said looking at shinichi feeling a sense of familiarity with shinichi who stared down at her with a look of realization that she might have remembered something

Kitty: "host I'm sensing danger from behind you...HOST LOOK OUT BEHIND YOU" Kitty yelled as a dart was shot at Ichika making her pass out

"Shinichi it's some new humans and soldiers" Tomizoro said as the soldiers took away Ichika "no..." shinichi said as he tried to reach for Ichika but then Ayaka was grabbed as well

"Hey let them go" Tomizoro said as he chased after the soldiers that grabbed Ayaka and Ichika while shinichi started to fight the new humans

"You bastards how dare you steal them away" shinichi said "hah...do I have to do everything myself" the spirit once again showed up

A light shined blinding The new humans and were encased in a sort of crystal "w.what?!" Shinichi was amazed at what happened

"You can thank me later now go save Ichika and Ayaka, Tomizoro has already gone after them" the spirit said and disappeared once again shinichi nodded and went to go save them
