I went upstairs and sat down. What a crazy week. My parents called me down stairs. I walked down stairs. There was a woman standing there. A beautiful woman. "Meg, this is your mother." My father said. I hugged her. This was my mother. But, she was no mother to me.

"I've heard what you did. That's crazy." She said. I didn't respond. "What's your name?" I asked. "Jackie" she said. "Hello, Jackie." I said. "I'm going to call you Jackie. I only have one mom, and I'm sorry, but it's not you. I know you had no choice. But a mother is someone who takes care of you." I told her. "It was very nice to meet you, Jackie." I said. She hugged me one last time. "I'm sorry" she whispered in my ear. "there is nothing to apologize about." I whispered. "Goodbye, visit soon." I told her. She waved.

It was crazy. The thing I wanted the most in my life didn't matter to me anymore. I wanted my family, my real family.

My mom came over and hugged me.

I looked at my parents, and waved. I went upstairs and went to my room. I sat down. I saw a picture of Sydney, Sammie and I when we were about six. I had a perfect idea.

I went into Sammie's room. "We should have a sleepover! You, Sydney and I!" I said. Sydney walked in. "Did someone say a sleepover?" She said. We all laughed. We all sat down and talked.

It was a good night, a very good night.
