All It Takes Is A Knock {Book-1}

It was already 1:30 pm and the fresh ground breeze did nothing to fix my already worsening mood. Mrs Safa just gave me a weeks worth of detention! James was just grinding on about his latest gig when I heard bickering noise close to me.

I whip my head towards the source of the noise,my oversensitive ears not being able to handle it.

Before my eyes was a very adorable scene. A young girl, at the age of 12 I presume, was huffing an irritated sigh. Walking next to her is a guy, and OMG, he looked ethereal. He stood tall, with tousled midnight hair. He had his white shirt untucked and rolled up to his elbows. He had a stick body, but his face made up for that shortcoming.

I could tell he isn't from our school. At least James would know who he is, but James didn't even acknowledge the guy.

Before I could ponder anymore they got through the gates and left. Without thinking, I started for the gate to catch up with them and say something I guess.

I could hear the questions of my friends from afar but didn't even turn around, I come up with an excuse for me and them later on.

I walked through the gates and stood on the foyer of the school an looked around. They were nowhere to be seen.

Did they disintegrate or something?! Cause I'm pretty damn sure people don't just phoff like that. I swished my head left to right a few times looking around. Yep, they definitely disintegrate or they were kidnapped, but the guy looked big enough to give the kidnapper's a run for their lives, so that can't be it.

Finally giving up on it. I was about to walk back in through the gates, when an idea flipped in to my head and a when I say ran I mean ran to my house.

The Next day......

I was standing at the same spot, under the tree. James and Sivi(both knowing the situation)were standing on both my sides. "Do you think this is a good idea?", Sivi prompted. I was about to reply when James cut me off by saying,"of course it isn't, she met the guy like yesterday, how can someone like someone in just one day!".

"Calm down J, I'm not in love with him. I just think he looks like an interesting person to be around.", I replied. " How do you know, have you ever talked to him ", said James, his voice slowly rising in decibels. " You can see a person and feel it J, maybe you'd understand if you could be less full of yourself!" I said calmly as I didn't want to attract attention and walked away.

As I was walking I saw similar flash of pitch black hair. I swiveled my head towards it and saw that it was the girl from tomorrow walking out of the gates. I walk- ran to her as I was afraid she would disappear like yesterday.

When she was of ear-short I said,"wait". She turned her head in such a way it made he black hair have a sudden shine in the sunlight. And I can see why they might be siblings. She looked at me through her big doe eyes and lightly tilted her head to the side. how can someone be this cute and elegant at the same time!

No, Sabrina focus! "Was the guy who came to pick you up yesterday your brother?" I asked gently, afraid that I might scare her off. " Yes, why do you ask?", she replied. And if seeing jer eyes sent me into a coma, hearing her voice killed me. At this point I was about to simp on their entire family!?

I got myself back on line and asked " well he seems like a nice guy". "Ok?", when asked like she already knew that there was something else. " And I want you to share this with your brother", I said, handing her a chocolate bar with my number and name written on it.

She looked at me, confused for a few seconds. Suddenly she took the chocolate and started giggling to herself.

Maybe this wasn't a good idea. I started to feel kinda embarrassed that I slowly truned around and tried to not but walk away. At least I did what I wanted to do and I'm proud and happy about it.
