MIAS POV
Live is exhausting.
It's 10AM in the morning when I put on my skates for practice. Sophie, my best friend, is sitting right next to me, putting her skates on, too. I didn't really sleep tonight, I was too nervous about my new choreo. I wanted it to be perfect. But Sophie wasn't nervous or stressed at all. She was, in fact, never stressed at all. I wondered how she managed that. She's been talking about her day with her boyfriend for the past ten minutes, non stop. „And then we went to the coffee shop and I ordered a hot chocolate, and Aaron said-" she stopped talking when she notice I didn't really listen. „Hey, are you even listening?" she asked me. „Sure, I- I just keep thinking about my choreo. Sorry." I said, and she sighed. „Mia, you're the best skater I know," she started, putting a hand on my shoulder, „And you'll be great. I know it. So don't stress out." she said. „Ivy is the best skater." I protested, even though I was thankful for her words. „Ivy is a bitch." she simply said, like it's a fact. It made me laugh, and I felt a little less nervous. „You have a point." I smiled at her. She tied her skates and then took my hands and pulled me up. „Come on, practice starts soon." she said, and we walked out of the changing rooms.
We stood outside the rink when the Hockey Team was still practicing. I rolled my eyes, annoyed. „Why do they have to practice just before us?" I complained. Sophie simply shrugged. „It's not their fault." she said, smiling at Aaron who saw her and blew her a kiss. I smiled at her. „You two lovebirds." I said. „Oh shut up." she snapped, but laughed. „I could say the same thing about you and Simon." she grinned at me. „What? Oh god, no. Please shut up. You know I hate him." I replied, but she simply laughed. „Come on, you two would be such a hot couple, but no, you choose to hate him." she said, acting offended. „Don't be such a drama queen. I don't like his guts, and he's always teasing me." I said, rolling my eyes even at the thought of him. I spotted him on the ice when he wasn't looking. Sophie shrugged. „I still ship you guys." I wanted to say something back, but in that second, Ivy appeared next to us. Sophie rolled her eyes. I simply glared at her. We didn't really like her. Actually, we couldn't stand her. She was always treating us like she was better than us, like she was some sort of queen and it made me want to vomit. She didn't even bother to look at us. Just then, the hockey team skated off the ice. Aaron came out first and Sophie immediately ran in his direction, giving him a kiss. I couldn't hear what they were talking about. A short breath later, Simon walked out. Ugh. „Hey princess." he said, looking at me. I simply ignored him. I wasn't in the mood for an argument or anything that has to do with him, not today. I saw Sophie grinning at me from the corner of my eye and I rolled my eyes, but a second later I laughed. God, this girl.
