Mias POV

What is worse than having to jump down a building?
Having to see Simon every single day of my life except for Sunday. Sharing a rink with the hockey players also seems to be the worst thing ever, since we have practice right before us.
Some of the figure skaters love it cause they get attention from the hockey boys and I hate it cause I have to look into Simons face every day.
I put my skates on when I hear his voice. „Mia? Can I talk to you for a second?" I shake my head without answering. „Come on, just for a few seconds-" he gets cut off my another guy from his team, I think his name is Jason. I've seen him a few times but I never really payed attention to him. „Hey, she doesn't want to talk to you, Harrington. Leave her alone." he says, and I smile at him. Simon looks like he's gonna kill him, but instead, he shakes his head and walks off. Jason winks at me before also leaving. I want to thank him, but he's already gone and Sophie is telling me to get on the ice.

As our practice is over and I'm about to go home, I see Aaron and a few other guys from the hockey team, and they look like someone just died. One of them is calling the ambulance, and Aaron runs towards me and Sophie. „What happened?" I ask. He looks like he's seen a ghost. „Simon threw a bottle at Jason. Nobody knows why, but the bottle hit his head and now Jason is unconscious."
My eyes widen and I feel like I'm gonna faint. „Where are they?" I almost shout. „In the changing rooms, but-" I don't listen the the rest of the sentence cause I'm already running to the changing rooms. When I arrive, I see Simon with a pale face and Jason laying on the floor. Some teammates of them are there too, they are trying to wake Jason up and some are confronting Simon. I just stand there until I realize Simon is staring at me. I stare back before I run out and go back to Sophie and Aaron.

Simon hit Jason with a bottle. And I have a bad, bad feeling that I was the reason for it.
