I had just finished a training session with Cassidy, I was beyond exhausted and if it were not for this last minute meeting, I would have melted into my bed by now. I can't help but wonder why I have been asked to meet with Captain John Price, of Task Force 141.
"Morrigan! there you are! Are you up for joining me and MacGowan for drinks later?...i'll pay if you scare the shite out of him again" i hear Cassidy question, i don't even have to turn back to know that he has the biggest shit-eating grin plastered across his face.
"Sorry Tadhg, But i'd rather not tonight, i've gotta prepare for whatever shitshow is about to go down, and I would rather not do it with two drunk irishmen fighting with each other in the background! " i answer him, trying to word it as politely as possible to not offend him while speed walking down the corridor to get to this godforsaken meeting on time.
Upon entering the room I am met with two unfamiliar faces, Captain John Price, and a lady I'm not entirely sure I know who.
Am I in trouble? Shit.
The man with a strange bucket hat and scruffy beard takes one last puff on his cigar before he clears his throat "Sargent Sadie 'Blaze' Morrigan" He begins, "I have heard a lot about you..."
Oh fuck I'm in trouble.
"All good I would hope sir, can I help you?" I say proudly, hoping he wont see through my facade.
The blonde lady who I can only guess is Kate Laswell looks at Price for permission to continue, followed by the nod of Prices head.

a/n: this is my first time writing a fanfic, or even publishing writing so i apologise if its not the best, this is more of like a start-off rather than an actual chapter, so when i get around to updating(which may be slow because of school and me being very busy) the chapters will be much longer than this one!!
