It was finally 6pm, meaning the engagement party was one hour away, Mei and Momo where finishing up their makeup so they could arrive early

Once they where finished they went to the party, Midoria held it on a very beautiful beach house he rented, we all had tables assigned, Momo and Shoto went to the table while Mei was talking to Midoria's mother, soon after Momo joined Mei.

Meanwhile Shoto sat alone at the table, waiting for Momo and Mei to come back, he was on his phone when he saw Tenya coming towards him "Hey" he said as Iida sat at the table "Shoto, long time no seen" Iida greeted, they talked a bit, Tenya and Shoto where catching up a bit since they hadn't seen each other in a while

"Did you come alone? where is Momo?" Tenya asked since he noticed that Momo wasn't at the table "Momo is here, she is talking to Midoria's mom with Mei" Shoto said, "Mei is here?" Tenya asked quite shocked "yeah, she came back yesterday, she already finished college so she's back" Shoto said while looking at Tenya's expression

"You okay?" Shoto asked him, Tenya was lost in a trance since Shoto mentioned Mei "Yeah im fine, look at the time, they could be arriving any minute now" Tenya said nervously

it became 7pm meaning Uraraka and Midoria would arrive any moment soon, "let's get back to the table" Momo said and Mei agreed, Shoto sat with Iida waiting on Momo and Mei

As they both walked to the table Shoto admired how beautiful Momo looked in her black dress, Tenya on the other hand was stunned when he saw Mei, seeing how different she looked, how beautiful she looked in that wine colored dress, he became visibly nervous

Mei saw Tenya and she quickly got red, 'shit I thought I got rid of these silly feelings' since the table wasn't that big the only two seats where next to Tenya and next to Shoto, so she sat next to Tenya

"Hey" He said once she sat down, "hey, long time no see" she said, he was about to speak but their attention was on the entrance, the crowd cheered when Midoria and Uraraka came in, feeling happy and excited for the newly engaged couple.

Time passed and most of the guests were a bit drunk, Mei decided to drink but only a little bit so she wouldn't do shit she would regret later, "how you been Mei?" Tenya asked, finally getting a chance to talk to her  "I've been fine, missing home but thanks God im back, how about you?" Mei asked while pouring a bit more wine "Im fine, working hard like always" he said  "how your girlfriend?" Mei asked as she drank her wine

"We broke up like three years ago" Tenya stated, Mei looked kinda shocked "wow, I thought y'all where going to get married" Mei said letting out a chuckle

Tenya laughed, he's been waiting so long to talk to Mei and it's finally happened "Im sorry I didn't text you not even once when you where gone, I thought you didn't want to talk to me" Tenya said while blushing a bit

"Dummy, I would've loved to talk with you" Mei said feeling the alcohol take control of her, "we should go outside, there's to much noice in here" Tenya said as he stood up

They went outside and took off their shoes to walk near the beach, "so, dis you find a boyfriend?" Tenya ask's, "Nah' haven't had the time, how about you? any lucky girl that stole your heart?" Mei asked

"Well nobody has steal my heart, but I did come to term's with feelings I had for someone" Tenya said while looking at Mei from the corner of his eye "oh really?" "yeah" he responded

"since you left, I never really got you out of my mind, when my girlfriend broke up with me I didn't even feel sad, I just thought of you, I missed the time I had spent with you and all I could think about was your confession" Tenya said, Mei was stunned "what" was the only thing she could say

"I've come to terms with my feelings towards you, I guess I never knew how much you meant to me until I lost you" he said

they both stared at each other, in that moment there was no one else in the world but them "my feelings never went away" Mei said in a whisper "that's great" he said as he brushed a strand of hair of her face "Mei, could you give me a chance?" Tenya said not taking his eyes of her, Mei was shocked , she had waited so long and it finally was happening "of course" she said

Tenya smiled at her, feeling the happiest he has been in years, in that moment he leaned in and kissed her, Mei gladly returned the kissed, feeling at peace.

She waited years for him, wanting to get rid of the feelings she had for him and at the end they were mutual, no one can ruin this moment, only God knows how much she wished for this.

Years passed by, Midoria, Urarak, Momo and Shoto were married, Midoria didn't waste any time, giving Uraraka their first child a year into their marriage, Momo and Shoto wanted to wait a bit more. The friend group continued as strong as ever.

Mei and Tenya continued to date for about three years, at first Tenya struggled a bit since he wanted to win Mei completely, even though she still had feelings for him she wanted to play hard to get. But on the long run everything ended up perfectly

August 25,2020

The day was perfect, a hint of summer still in the air, the flowers were blooming, everyone gather up, most of them had waited patiently for this day to come, as she walked down the aisle, guests couldn't take their eyes of her, she looked like a princess.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, we are gather here today in the union of the Iida and Kayama family" the priest said, after years of them being together today was finally their weeding day

As the priest gave his speech, Mei and Tenya couldn't be happier. This is what they have always wanted, and it was finally happening. "Those anyone oppose on Mei's and Tenya's marriage?" the priest asks

"you may kissed the bride" the priest said, everyone cheering while the couple shared a loved fill kiss.

After years of suffering and things going wrong Mei finally got to experience what she most wanted in life. She was more than happy to experience all of this with the man she most loved in the world.

And there they where, walking out of the church, together, more than ready for this new adventure together.
