*Sun's pov*
I sat on the couch with Moon. Yes, Moon. We'd settled on a common ground these past few weeks and we're a lot more comfortable around each other.
"It's been weeks, yet apart for Somchai's almost assassination, they've been quiet. What do you think is going on?"
"It's this quietness that's making me even more nervous. It feels like the calm before the storm"
"It's really troubling"
"There's no need to be stressed out. We'll just take it as it comes"
"Mnnn"
"Now. Let's talk about us"
My heart skipped a beat and I quickly raise my head
"What do you mean? I don't understand what you're talking about "
"Of course you don't. You used to be so bold. Where did all that courage go hum?"
I could feel my ears turning red
"I still insist that I have no idea what you're saying "
"Do you like me?"
"Yes"
" Done"
"Wait what-?"
"Why are you being so shy now? You weren't shy when you repeatedly harassed me"
"I- That was- You"
"Oh come on I can't be so handsome that you're short of words "
"He's right Phi'Sun. Since when do you act like a shy school girl falling in love for the first time"
I turned to see Dao on the last stair leaning on the railing and looking at me with a slight teasing look
"This is my first time falling in love"
"So you admit you do love me"
"You're welcome P'Moon"
"Jer gan* Dao"
I watched until she was almost to the door before calling out
"Need a ride?"
"Nah. You guys finish that conversation. Oh and if you're not going to stay till I get back make sure you lock up. Nanny's not here for the time being"
"Khap"
I waited for the door to close before turning on Moon
"You used my own sister against me?"
"I wouldn't call it using her I mean she was willing "
I pinched my nose in exasperation and sighed
"Moon, I like you."
He looked at me seemingly shocked at my serious expression
"Sun I-"
"Shhhh. Just let me speak. At first I just wanted to be friends, make up for lost time. But after spending time together and familiarizing myself with you I realized that at some point my feelings for you changed from that of mere friendship to something else. I don't know if you're serious or you're just playing a harmless prank but I had to get this off my chest. If you reciprocate my feelings, then we'll take it one day at a time. And if you don't then we'll just forget any of this ever happened and keep on being just f-"
Before I could say the last word I was enveloped in a hug.
" Don't even say it"
I smiled and rapped my arms around him. Our posture was a bit awkward as I was half sitting on his leg
"Sun"
"Mnn?"
"I love you"

I suddenly had the desire to tease him a little
"Okay then"
"That's it?. You can't even say it back? You're not the type who would throw things away after getting them are you?"
"Is my image really that bad in your eyes?"
"What can I say?"
"Oh well. Are you hungry?"
I made to stand up and he pulled my back down peppering kisses on my face and tickling me while I twisted around uncontrollably
