It's been so long since the hashiras can finally rest. After the big war against Muzan Kibutsuji, the two hashiras Sanemi Shinazugawa and Giyu Tomioka are finally getting along. Understanding each other's past and seeing that both of them have gone through something, after all, everyone has a reason to join the demon slayer corps.
Both of them decided to move in a house outside the city. Since they didn't needed to protect themselves from demons anymore, they could be outside without worrying. After moving to the house they both quickly started to plant flowers. Giyu liked to go outside and smell the sweet scent of the beautiful roses and daisies. Somehow, the two of them never fought since they moved. Giyu would cook and Sanemi would do house chores, both of them lived peacefully... But Sanemi soon started to like Giyu Tomioka. He just simply looked so... Beautiful, like an angel... He wanted to hold his hand and say 'i love you' but Sanemi just couldn't bring himself to do so. At the same time, Giyu was starting to loose feelings for him. Giyu had meet a lady in the city and he was starting to fell in love. Giyu used to admire Sanemi but now he sees him more as a friend... But he isn't sure if what he feels is really just friendship, admiration or love.
"Yo Giyu are you going to town today?" Sanemi asked while he was cleaning the dishes. "Yes, why? Do you wat to come qith me?" Giyu answered without looking at him and just paying attention to the food he was making. "Yeah, i have to buy some things for someone in specific" Giyu stopped in his tracks and turned to look at him "Who is it?! Tell me!" Sanemi realized his mistake and quickly changed subject. He really didn't wanted to confess already "Oh and who are you going to visit?"
Giyu looked a bit annoyed by Sanemi changing subjects and decided to stay quiet. They both stayed quiet until Giyu finished making the food.
Once everything was clean and the food was ready they both sat down and started eating. Sanemi wasn't usually this quiet so it was a bit weird to him but he decided to ignore it for the moment.

After they arrived to town, Giyu saw that the girl he was supposed to meet wasn't there. Sanemi also took notice of this and told him to wait while he went to get something. Giyu agreed and Sanemi left to a gift shop.
When Sanemi came back from the shop he saw that Giyu wasn't near there. "He can't be that far" he thought before going to search Giyu.
After two hours of searching he finally found him outside the girl's house... He was crying. Sanemi didn't even thought twice and went running towards him asking what happened. "Oh, it's nothing. She just rejected me. She told me that she only used me for the money that i had... I gave everything i had, so why couldn't she love me?" Giyu could only hug Sanemi as the love of his life had rejected him and even used him. Everything went wrong for him.
Giyu had fallen asleep after crying so much until he got tired. Sanemi was carrying in his back until they arrived home... When they arrived home, Sanemi put him in a futon (Japanese bed) and went to the kitchen to make some food. He didn't know what was happening to him, he just didn't know what he truly felt. He understands that he loves Giyu but... Will he love someone like him?
