Back?

The past few days were rough. Roier was giving Bobby time, making sure he was okay after all he had to endure. Bobby soon was able to get up and got to the Favela to play soccer with Richarlyson. To say their reunion wasn't a tearful one would be an understatement, every tear shed by the eggs seeing their fallen brother was a touching moment.


The eggs had a huge party and played around while Roier stayed distant from the others just viewing them from afar. He didn't want to socialize with anyone since Jaidens disappearence. It was the exact opposite reaction he had when Cellbit disappeared, instead of craving interactions with his friends, he wanted to be alone with no one around.

That was until an individual approached him with a familiar voice

" What are you doing?"

Roier whipped his head around, That wasn't who he thought it was...Was it?

" Hello"

There stood Jaiden except it wasn't exactly her. She had a book in one hand and a Cucurucho mask with a speaker box attached to a collar to complete the look. She was dressed in all white and just stood there staring lifelessly at him.

"Jaiden?!"

Her head tilted. There was no life in their interactions unlike how there was normally. He noticed her take out a book and begin to write something down.

In that moment, Bobby had run over to Roier, mainly to give him a flower that reminded him of his adoption until he stopped dead in his tracks.


Bobby ran to Jaiden and clung to her leg. He hadn't even seen her face, just the hair and he instantly knew it was his mother. He was quickly pulled off by Roier and Bobby immediately protested and ran back to clinging to Jaiden.

Jaiden had stopped writing, handing Roier the book before looking down to Bobby. It was like all functions of the mask stopped. There was a gurgling sound behind the mask, you could make out a slight bit of a sentence she was trying to string along


"Bobby - my... son-"

She was soon cut off by the shock of her collar, which jolted Roier over to check on her. He hadn't even looked at the book. Luckily for him she was okay and Bobby wasn't injured during the encounter.

"Are you alright Jaiden??!"

" Yes."

Bobby tugged on her pant leg motioning for her to follow him. And so she followed Bobby.


Roier finally was able to take a look at the book

The whole rest of the message was written out in binary code, something Roier at this moment can't decipher but it was good to know she could write in binary code. This could be a way she could pass along messages to him in secret.

He looked over to where Jaiden and Bobby were, Bobby holding out an allium and gently placed it in her hair. He could tell behind the mask Jaiden was crying. Grateful to have her son back with her once more. However she knew she couldn't stay for too long.

Jaiden wrote something down for Bobby before handing it to him and waving to Roier as she teleported away.

"Was that..."

"Sí that was Jaiden."

"They got to her didnt they Roier?"

"Sí. In exchange for Bobby's revival."

"Did you know?"

"Of course not. Jaiden told me nothing. She did this on her own."

Roier felt a hand on his shoulder.

"We'll get her back. Back to normal, back here with you and Bobby."

"You promise?"

"I promise."

Roier turned to the person who had placed their hand on his shoulder.

"I'm glad your my friend Bad. We need to talk to Cellbit though, Jaiden gave me a note in binary code. Sounds like something you're up to solving?"

"Of course! We need to help her and the others get off the island. Let's go.

Bobby followed back to where Maximus was screaming about what the hell happened to Jaiden, the eggs playing soccer with each other and Baghara trying to calm the situation down.

I returned to the base. I had barely any coordination in my legs and seeing was difficult so I relied on sound and what surroundings I had memorized before. I walked back to the room I had been staying in, keeping my hand towards the wall as I finally collapsed onto my bed.

The door opened and someone walked in. I couldn't really tell but by the footsteps it sounded like Cucurucho had entered.


"What are you doing?"

I sat there, hoping I could be allowed to talk normally, my throat felt scratchy even.

"Completing my duties on information of the islanders."

It allowed me to talk thankfully. Hopefully I'll be used to this all soon. They didnt tell me about this being part of the "Deal"

The text to speech came out but this time it could talk to me more than in one recorded sentences

Can you see?"

I shook my head no. My vision was in and out. I could barely see when I visited Roier and Bobby. I couldn't even see my son, how much I wanted to see him...

"We'll do more tests then."

I immediately froze up. Tests? God not anymore, I can still taste some metallic bits from whatever they did after the chainsaw.

"Flower?"

"Flower...?"

I had no idea what Bobby had done to my hair but of course it was a flower.

" I must've instinctively put one in my hair..haha.."

Cucurucho I felt got closer to me, I could almost feel his eyes on me. Though I wasn't certain.

It took the flower out of my hair and put it to what I assume to be in a vase on the side.

"Will I be able to go outside soon?"

"No. Rest."

I sighed. At least Cucurucho wasn't that big of a monster about this sort of thing. He was gentle, and quiet. Before I knew it I found myself drifting off in the land of slumber.

The only place where I could still be with my son and Roier without a disturbance of the mask or cucurucho.
