"What are you doing?"

A voice spoke from behind her. There stood Cucurucho trying to grab his assistance hand back.

"Pinche Pendhejo, what did you do to Jaiden?"

Roier looked to the female who seemed confused and unaware to the entire situation

" Classified."

That time it was from the girl in front of him. Jaidens voice was hollow, not the spunky and kind voice he had heard once before. Just a cold hollow version of who she once was.

However, it brought the attention of Bobby and Richarlyson who stopped dead in their tracks. Richarlyson tried to grab onto Bobby's hand but he slipped out of his grasp and Immediately hugged Jaiden.

Bobby knew it wasn't the same mom he knew, he knew they did something to her but he didn't care. He has missed his mother, he missed her warm embraces, he missed the way she would sing to him at night, he missed her stories and most importantly? He missed her presence.

He didn't care how much it hurt to see his mother as the shell of who she used to be. He didn't care how much time it took for her to be near him again, all he truly cared about? Was that his mom whether she knew she was his mom or not, attended his birthday.

The women patted his back. She didn't hug him but that was okay, because it was still his mother right? He wanted to hold onto her as tight as he could for as long as he could. It took multiple people to peel him off of her and hold him back.

She just looked at them

"Happy Birthday Bobby."

And behind her another voice sounded off

"We hope you enjoy the island."

Bobby smiled sadly as he watched his mother leave with the bear. He looked to his father with a grin on his face, not even noticing the horror plastered on the others faces

"Did you see that apa? Mom came to tell me happy birthday!"

Bobby had the happiest expression that any of them had seen in months. Even if it was brief and even if she didn't give him a hug back, he still cared deeply for his mother. That was the woman who chose to adopt him with his father. Damn if he cared that she didn't look or act the same, he was just happy that at this very moment she was alive and okay.

"I saw Mi hijo, are you alright though?"

"Yeah why wouldn't I be" Bobby was just chipper. He was excited that his mom had come to visit during his birthday. Cellbit and Richarlyson looked at him with a concerned look. Neither knew what to do in a situation like this.

Roier patted his back and his attention went over to the gift left by Jaiden for Bobby. He carefully picked it up and brought it over to Bobby.

Bobby's eyes lit up in excitement, the gift was wrapped in his mothers iconic purple wrapping paper. Something he had noticed her wrap previous gifts for others before in. Now he got the chance to open one in the familiar color he had grown to love.

He tore into the paper, ensuring he saved a little to add to his ever growing collection of items that remind him of his mom. He opened the box to be greeted with a couple of items. A paint palette with fresh paint, a fresh cut rose and a small bear with a spiderman jacket. Bobby carefully picked every item out of the box and placed them on the table.

His smile never wavered as he noticed a small envelope that was hidden by the rest of the items. He opened it up with a careful motion, he may have a tendency to rip into things but a letter from his mother? That was precious.

He carefully read the letter. On the front was a cheesy spider man birthday card, but inside kept his hope about being able to interact with his mom once more

" Happy Birthday Bobby!

I can't believe you're three months old! It was just yesterday that you were adopted and everyday has been filled with sunshine since. Whenever you see a sunrise think of me, and i'll always be right there.

I love you Bobby, I'll see you soon

He set it down and showed off the items to Richarlyson in excitement. Distracting the other boy with the excitement he was feeling in that moment. He had received other gifts such as new armor and weapons to protect himself but these were something special for him.

Cellbit and Roier could only show faces of concern to each other, making sure to check the safety of each item. Neither found anything suspicious in her gifts and sighed in relief. But they could only assume what had been going on during that time.

How long does it take to write a chapter

Depending on the day ive had it really depends if I write an entire chapter in an hour or two or if it takes me a couple of days of on and off writing

What inspired me to write Jaidens gone
I got tired of writing fluff/j Nah it was after discovering Federation Jaiden on twitter and this was written around the same time as my other fanfic Never gone

Fun little fact about this: Around when I hit 25 pages on my google document for Jaidens gone, I matched it with never gone to keep them both equal. Meaning I would write two fanfic chapters a day.

Has Jaidens gone stray from the original plan?

So funny thing: I don't plan out much of what goes on in the chapter. I have a ideas of huge plot points in the story but everything is written the day I think of it. So my original plan has changed multiple times including the original idea of how this fanfic will pan out. Which is why it was called a puppet au. The original idea is different from now but could still be implemented into the AU
