"Go away, Damon!" the Saltzman man shouts, but the knocking did not cease, causing Alaric to get out of his bed and head over towards the door. Opening the door, he is greeted to the sight of both Marley and Elena Gilbert.

"Hi." the younger Gilbert girl greets, lowering her arm from when she was knocking.

"You're, uh, not who I expected." Alaric says as he buttoned and zipped up his pants before doing his belt.

"I need you to tell me what you know about Stefan and Tennessee." Elena demands as Alaric looks between her and Marley, dumbfounded.

"Did you miss the part where I checked out of all of this?" Alaric asks as he turns to walk towards his kitchen area, leaving the door open for the two girls to walk in.

"And, did you miss the part where we are checking you back into all of this?" the older Gilbert girl asks, tilting her head slightly as she crosses her arms in front of her chest.

"Come on, Ric. Whatever Damon knows, you know" Elena pleads as she and Marley follow him to his kitchen, closing the front door on their way in.

"Well, ask Damon." Alaric says, throwing on one of his button-up shirts and opening up his fridge to grab something from it.

"Damon's not exactly in the mood to help with all of this at the moment." Marley says as she and Elena sit in the stools that were at the island counter in Alaric's kitchen.

"For good reason. Because it's not safe for Elena, probably not even safe for you Marley." Alaric says as he walks over to where the two girls are sitting. "Stefan's off the rails, and I'm sorry that you had to be dragged into all of this."

"Yeah, but he's still holding onto his humanity, which means he can still be saved." Elena says as she gets up and begins to clean the empty beer bottles that were left on the kitchen island, most likely from last night.

"And why do you have to be the one to save him?" Alaric asks.

"Because I'm not the kind of person who checks out." Elena answers as she finishes removing the beer bottles from the surface of the island counter before looking back toward Alaric. "Look, he would never give up on me. I'm not gonna give up on him. Tell me what you know, Ric. Please."

Alaric lets out an annoyed sigh, knowing he couldn't say no to the younger Gilbert girl any longer. Briefly glancing towards the older one of the two Gilbert girls, he finally responds, "They've been tracking werewolves, he and Klaus. All up the eastern seaboard. We thought we had them outside of Memphis, but they were nowhere to be found. Except for the little parting gift that was left."

"Well, if they were successful in finding a werewolf, then they might be trying to find that werewolf's pack." Marley states as both she and Elena follow Alaric, who is walking out of his kitchen area. "It is a full moon tonight after all."

"Since when did Tyler Lockwood become a werewolf?" Marley asked as she and Alaric sat at the bar in the Mystic Grill, watching as Elena talked to Tyler.
