Chris and Alex are girlfriend and boyfriend. Alex and Chris were childhood friends. Alex came out as transgender at the age of 10 and has been transiting since than. She is 16 now and Chris started to grow feelings for Alex. he asked her out one night and she said yes. They've been dating for a few months now. but no one knows they are dating because Chris doesn't want anyone to think he's gay for liking Alex. Alex is okay with this, well she thought she was but she gets why he doesn't wanna tell anyone just yet. but doesn't want to push him away in fear of him stop dating her.

Alex: Good morning babe.
Chris: How did you sleep?
Alex: Good, be better if you were sleeping with me.
Chris: me too but we are lucky that you're mom lets me sleep over anymore.
Alex: I know, she's cool with us dating but she doesn't want any kissing or anything.
Chris: I get that and that's fine with me. just as long as i can see that beautiful face every morning.
Alex: awww!!! You are the sweetest, kindest boyfriend.
Chris: only because you bring it out in me, i love you
Alex: I love you too baby.
Chris: I know you want me to tell people we're dating but I'm just not ready for all that. I'm sorry. it's not that I'm ashamed of you or anything.
Alex: I know, breathe and take your time. I totally understand why and I'm okay with you taking your time.
Chris: I do have your back 100%, you know that right?
Alex: I know you do and that's one of the reasons why I love you so much.

Alex and Chris drive to school together and park in the same spot like every other day. and walk into the building together like usual. Alex wants to hold Chris's hand but she knows he needs more time.
Chris: Are you okay?
Alex: Yeah, I'm okay. thanks for asking
Chris: you're welcome and you just seem off today. I didn't want to say anything at the house.
Alex: no, I'm okay. I just have a lot on my mind that's all.
