"Rise and shine sleepy head, don't you gotta get to work?" Hitch snatches the cover off of you making you groan.

Turning on your stomach, you pat your head and sigh at the fact that you went to sleep with your hair uncovered and without eating. "Just let me stay here and rot please."

After the date last night, if you could even call it that, you went straight to Hitch and Mikasa's apartment and told them everything that happened. You ended up passing out on their couch after ranting on and on about how you felt cornered and a little angry, but at the same time also kind of happy to see Connie's face again.

"Come on, you might not even see him anymore. Don't let last night mess up your morning." She smacks you on your ass and giggles when you start twerking.

"I doubt that but you're right." You sit up after a few more seconds and check your phone. It's almost nine in the morning. "Can I use the shower? I don't have to be there until eleven."

"Go ahead. Mikasa left out not too long ago, but she made you a breakfast sandwich. It's covered on the stove so make sure you eat!" She yells as she walks down the hall, "and make sure to wear a jacket when you go, the weather's been kinda funny!"

"You two are my angels!" You hear her laugh from her room before shutting the door.

After eating and taking a very needed shower, you get dressed with some of the few clothes you left over from previous nights and touch up your hair. Grabbing your phone, your purse, and a jacket, you leave out the door.

Hopefully today is a great day.

So far today is not a great day.

First, as you were walking on the sidewalk, you almost got drenched in water since multiple cars decided to drive past the huge puddles by the curbs at an insane speed. Luckily, your clothes were dry but it still pissed you off. Secondly, when you finally make it to the train station, you see Connie standing right in front of you with a big smile on his face. You have half the mind to turn back around and say fuck your shift.

He couldn't have known your new schedule, meaning this had to be just by luck that he caught you...or not.

"Goodmorning baby!" He waves.

"I'm gonna pretend that you're not here."

"Aww, don't be like that." He walks up to you pouting. "How'd you sleep? I wish I could've at least bought you dinner before you stormed off last night."

"I slept great," you deadpan. "How did you know I'd be here? Did someone tell you?"

"Funny thing actually, I didn't even know you'd be here. I just felt like riding the train today." He shrugs.
