It was your first official day of school and you had no clue what people were going to think of you, but luckily you already made a friend and she was pretty fierce. Then again, it's not like you cared about what people thought about you. All you needed was good grades and some extracurriculars. 

You walked into the classroom where everyone was and immediately caught all their attention. Gojo was leaning back in his chair with his feet on his desk when he lifted up his eye coverings and smirked at you. 

"Everyone this is y/n. OUR NEW STUDENTTTTT!" He jumped up to say as he showcased you with jazz hands. 

"um hi." you said as you stared blankly at the room. 

"Where are you from?" The pink haired boy said. 

"Sendai city" you replied. 

The girls in the classroom looked at you with judgement and envy. Nobara looked bored as she picked her nails. You found your way to your seat and unintentionally, you were assigned right next to the pink haired boy. 

"Hey, I'm from Sendai City too." the pink haired boy smiled. "My name is Yuji Itadori."

While Gojo lectured and taught us history, Nobara was talking to Yuji while occasionally slapping him upside the head. 

"bitch" Yuji mumbled. 

Once class was over you began packing up your stuff when Nobara came up to you. "What are you doing later?" she asked. 

"Well I want to go talk to the track coach to try-out for the team." you said

"ughhhhh you LIKE running?" she said with a groan. 

You laughed at her response. "Yea, it gets my mind off things".

"yea yea whatever. text me when you're done so we can study together then play some video games" she said as she walked off. 

You were walking back to your dorm to drop off your things and change when you heard people talking about you in the hallway. 

"dude did you see y/n? That ass fine, I wanna hit that." Some random guys giggled and chatted. gross.

"who does y/n think she is? just cause she's new doesn't mean she's hot." Some other random girls chattered. Insecurity at it's finest. 

You didn't let the gossip get to you because after a week everyone would be used to you and everything would go back to normal and you could just focus on school. After dropping off your school supplies in your bedroom you changed into your running shorts and a sports bra with a jacket over it before heading out to the track field. 

As you walked onto the field you saw Gojo throwing kids around while laughing at them. 

"Gojo, what are you doing here?" you said as you walked up to him. 

"I coach track, what are you doing here Ms. Y/n?" He replied. 

"I want to try out for the team." you said. 

"Well Mei Mei is the coach for the girls track team and she's sitting over there by the bleachers so you can tell her" he said with a smile. You nodded and began walking towards her. She was laying on the bleacher scrolling through her phone with a small grin on her face. 

"2,000,000 yen" she smiled. 

"ummmm excuse me, ms. Mei Mei, I would like to try out for the team." you said to her. 

She looked up from her phone with a look of amusement on her face. 

"Maki" she called. 

Suddenly a black haired female with bangs and a ponytail walked up to her. She was wearing what looked like reading glasses and her aura was intimidating and serious. 

"Race Y/n" she said. 

A smirk appeared on Maki's face as she looked at me up and down. People started gathering closer to us as they heard I was going to race Maki. A group of people started whispering to each other looking like they were placing bets. 

"Sorry newbie, but you're going to be walking off this field a sore loser." she smirked. 

"Wait" you said to Mei Mei, "Did every girl have to race Maki to make it on the team." you asked. 

"No, but I already have a full roster so I only want the fastest runners on my team which means if you want in this late, you are going to need to beat Maki, sorry." she said with a smile on her face. 

You rolled your eyes in frustration as you turned around ignoring everyone and walking onto the track as you took off your jacket leaving you in your sports bra and running shorts. Maki followed behind you and you both got in running position. Things started getting heated as people pulled our their phones and more gathered around. Nobara had gotten a text that "Y/n is going to race Maki, come quickly!!!"

Nobara was on the field watching as her two friends went against each other. 

"On your mark....."

"Get ready to eat my dust newbie" Maki said. You ignored her and focused on the track. 

"Get set...."

A shot went off and you started sprinting. Maki was ahead of you by a one foot but at the turn of the field you picked up speed and advanced in front of her.

"WOAAAAHHHHHH" people from the crowd shouted as they watched. Yuji was on the boys track team so he was also in the crowd and studied you with interest. 

You crossed the finished line just barely finishing in front of Maki, she was definitely fast. 

"How does my dust taste" You said to her with a smirk as you panted out of breath. 

"Impressive newbie, I think I'm going to like you." she said as she gave you a high five. 

"Y/n, you/re in" Mei Mei said with an impressed look on her face. 

You started smiling widely as the track team came up and high fived you for beating Maki. 

"Damn, she's hot" some of the boys on Yuji track team said as they looked at you. Normally Yuji wouldn't pay attention to girls but you caught his eye. The running outfit fitted and hugged your body showing off your curves and slim figure. You had a nice hourglass body that was from all your athletics from a kid to now. You used to play volleyball as well so it gave you a nice shape and abs.

You looked up at the bleachers and caught Yuji staring at you, he didn't look away when you caught him, he just kept staring. You felt a sudden wave of warmth wash over your body from the held eye contact. Must be from the race... you thought to yourself.
