After racing Maki you ran a few laps with the team and started packing up your stuff to head back to your dorm and shower. The entire time you were there you felt someone watching you and you knew it had to be Yuji because every time you turned around he was looking at you before turning away. He and his team were goofing off playing with Gojo instead of doing any training at all.

You got to your dorm and took a shower and washed your hair since it got sweaty. After hoping out the shower you left your wet hair down and put on a big sweater and some sweatpants. You texted Nobara "hey you can come over now". 

Within 5 minutes Nobara was at your door but to your surprise Maki was there too. 

"What's up newbie" Maki said as she walked in. 

"you know you can just call me y/n.." you said. 

"it'll wear off" Nobara replied. 

The three of you sat on your bed and on the floor playing video games on your TV with occasional phone breaks. You felt your stomach growling and started whining in bed. 

"I'm hungryyyyyyyy" you pouted. 

"Go get some snacks....OU OU OR GO TO THE DINING HALL AND GET US ALL SOMETHING!" Nobara said. 

"Fine" you rolled out of bed and put on some shoes as you left the dorm. You went to the dining hall and got three meals to go and stoped by the vending machine before you went back to the dorm for some chips and sodas. When you turned the corner to the vending machine you froze when you saw Yuji standing there. He looked up at you and smiled. 

"What's up Y/n" he said. 

'nothing' you dryly responded. 

"late night munchies?" he replied

You scratched the back of your neck replying "yea, something like that"

"Hey, I saw you out there on the track field, you're a pretty good runner" he said as he fully turned his body towards you engaging in more conversation. 

"yea I guess" you said as you looked at the floor. 

"oh I'm sorry, am I making you wait? here." he said as he moved out the way. 

You went up to the vending machine as you entered your card and the snacks you wanted while Yuji stood behind you watching.  After getting all your snacks you turned around to leave but jumped when he was STILL standing right behind you. 

"WHAT THE HELL?!" You shouted as you jumped back. "Why are you acting like such a creep?" you said as you caught your breath. 

'I just want to talk to you, that's all" Yuji said with a smile. 

"ok well I don't so move." you said as you walked past him. 

Yuji stood watching as you walked away from him thinking to himself how different you were. Most of the girls loved Yuji for his charismatic personality and strong body. But you didn't seem to care at all. In fact, you were dry with him since you first got there. 

You felt kind of bad for the way you talked to him but kept walking.

"im not here for boys. and I won't let you distract me."  you thought to yourself.  

In your mind, love, boys, and dating was a distraction from reaching your goals. It made you look weak and falling in love was for simps anyway. In your mind the only thing that you focused on was being an academic weapon (aka; GIRL BOSS). And if you broke a couple hearts along the way, you were fine with that.
