"Bhai will join us in sometime. He got an important call from office which he is attending." Nakul informed as he came out of Aarav's room. Shipra had sent him to call Aarav as it had been a while since he was "changing".
"This boy and his official calls!" Prakash said shaking his head.
"It's good to see that he has already adjusted well in his new office!" Prem said in an impressed tone.
"Yes yes and he has already become so busy as if he is the CEO of the company" Shipra added in a disappointed tone. She had told Aarav beforehand to keep himself free as Prem and his family were going to come but Aarav had ended up in a meeting right at the time they came."I am sure he will become one someday Shipra!" Meera said in an attempt to calm Shipra down.
"Acha anyways forget about Aarav, Avantika beta what are you doing these days? Last time I heard you were working in an event management firm right? " Prakash asked in an attempt to start a conversation.
"Yes uncle I was working in an event management firm but right now I am on a break. I had been working in the same organization for a long time so I thought of taking a break and try my luck in some new place" Avantika answered. "Oh that's great beta! I am sure you will do great wherever you go!" Prakash added patting Avantika's back affectionately."Aarav also works for an event management company, so if you need anything you can always contact me or him." Prakash added to which Avantika replied with a smile and a polite nod.
"Can you believe it Prakash now our kids are working! Time went by so fast na" Prem added with moist eyes.
"Yes Prem, these kids have grown up a little too fast. It feels like yesterday when we brought them home from the hospital. Remember how our elder kids were exactly a month apart!" Prakash added as he chuckled remembering the good old days."Are you serious! You mean Di and Aarav bhaiya were born on the same date but different months?! Who came first?!" Kriti asked excitedly.
"Your Di came on the 24th of April and Aarav came on 24th of March." Prem answered affectionately.
"But after 10 months of Aarav's birth we had to shift to Bangalore because of my transfer. I will always have this regret that the kids could not grow up together. Both Prem and I wanted our kids to be best of friends, you like 'legacy friendship' " Prakash added with a sad chuckle.
"Aree it's okay Praksh now dont get all emotional! See Kriti and Nakul are already best friends without even knowing that their dads are best friends and I guess Aarav and Avi will also become friends because I feel their interests will match alot" Prem added.
"Yes uncle even I feel their vibe will match a lot but for that Bhai needs to come out also na!" Nakul said loudly so that his voice could reach Aarav's room. Everyone shared a good laugh and Nakul was successful in lightening the mood.
"Abhi dekhna room se bolega "Tumne yaad kiya lo mai aagaya!" Mai jab bhi bulata hoon wo aisa he kuch bolta hai" Nakul informed everyone in a whisper. As if on cue Aarav shouted the very same lines from the room. Everyone looked at each other with amused expressions and burst out laughing.
"I am soo sorry everyone to keep you all waiting. If it wasn't important I would have canceled it." Aarav apologised while closing the door of the room. Since his room was on the other side of the living room they could only see his back as he was switching of the lights of the room and shutting the door.
"Aree it's okay beta! Come join us." Prem called him affectionately.
"Coming uncle!" Saying this Aarav turned around facing the group sitting in the living area and felt as if someone knocked the air out of him. His charming smile soon changed into an expression of shock as he could not believe what he saw in front of his eyes.
Similarly Avantika had also frozen on her seat and her expressions were nothing other than that of shock. The only thought that came to her mind was that out of everyone in the world how could she come across the same person not once but three times in a day.
