I walked out with haku, and he put the books in his pouch. "Hey haku, do you want me to help you with some of those books? It might be a bit heavy for you." I asked haku, and he looked at me and gave me a soft smile. "It's ok y/n I got it. There is no need to help me." I felt a bit of guilt because I couldn't help him. "Are you sure I can't help haku? I can seriously help. I can make vines as a backpack to carry the books for you?" Haku stopped walking, and he grabbed my hand and held it. "Y/n, it's ok, I can carry them myself, just chill, ok?" Haku reassured me, and I couldn't relax at all, but I shrugged it off and gave him a little smile and carried on walking.
We both got to the tunnel, and it was closed. Huh, I don't remember being a door here?" I got really confused. Usually, when I come here and im about to go back, the tunnel is open. One of the villagers walked by, and I stopped them. "Hey, excuse me, you know why the tunnel is closed? we need to get home," I asked the villager, and the villager looked at me really weird. "The tunnel has been closed for years now. 2 bodies have been found in that very tunnel, and nobody was allowed to go through it again."
Me and haku froze. What did they mean it was closed for years now, I've been going through that tunnel ever since I was little. Haku looks at me, and he tries speaking, but the words aren't coming out.
The villager looks at me and haku really confused. "wait i dont understand at all we have to go home" i said to the villager. "what this is your home?" i was paled as a ghost i felt like there was knot in my throat and i couldn't talk at all. "DAYREN STOP MESSING AROUND WITH Y/N AND THE SILLY OLD DRAGON" i heard a voice come a far, i turned around and i saw lily. "YOU STOP TELLING PEOPLE THAT THERE WERE 2 DEAD BODIES IN THERE YOU FOOL" lily grabbed the villager by the arm and flicked his head. "im so sorry, the door is closed because the last time someone came through they led a bunch of animals in here new policy sorry" i sighed in relief i felt like a whole lot a pressure just came off of me.
"very well then i will open the door for you guys so sorry" lily opened the door. "thank you lily and its ok" haku transformed into a dragon and i got on his back and we went back
