Two men were standing in front of an body in a lonesome alleyway. Their eyes wide with shock, not knowing what to do at this moment. A child was beside the man that was just killed. But no, that wasn't the dead man's child.
To explain the situation; the two men were sent to a joint mission. The brown haired man finished his task and returned to the ginger man, late as always. They had to kill off members of some organization who is a threat to the mafia and the city; Yokohama. They plan on taking over cities and rule them, the typical cliché villains. They actually have some powerful ability users and people in the organization. Their main goal runs deeper than the cliche idea and rumors, but all the boring info's for some other time (never)
They'd finish most of the job yesterday and the day before, just a few members in the organization who were kept in a different location than the others, planning to runaway, had to be finished off.
One of them was a doctor for them. The only doctor besides another dead one in that organization. His ability was mixing the DNA of two or more people (max 4 people) and creating a child; sharing their DNA and genetics. Deemed useless, despised by homophobic people, somehow he got involved in a organization like that.
The doctor, knowing he will die without a doubt, used his ability. Hoping this will trouble the mafioso. He had information on the mafioso, he cared deeply for people close to him, isn't fond of killing kids and considers the PM his family. The organization managed to get some information out of rumors, spying, etc. Of course the organization was aware of their approaching enemies coming to finish them.
The 'not fond of killing kids' was found out after they killed people in the organization and they had a kid with them; the man didn't harm the kid. The kid was only a innocent and afraid being, after all. The 'caring deeply' was assumed from seeing his reaction of Dazai getting hurt. The last, was an rumor from fellow port mafia members that they somehow found out.
The doctor thought the kid will be an bother to the mafioso, he is a mafioso after all and a executive at that, how can he raise a kid? He probably wouldn't kill someone who now is his own blood.
The innocent baby laid unconscious on the bloody floor. Whoops, is it too late to mention the doctor guy can control what age the child can be? Anywhere between a newborn to 10 years old! The older, more energy needed. Quiet specific indeed.
Purposely he choose a baby, if the mafioso decides to take care of the baby, it'd be even more difficult for him. The baby's a new born.
The brown haired man quickly figured out everything. Regaining himself, he picks up the baby in his arms, unsure of what to do. He looks at his partner, whose brain was malfunctioning. He bumps his leg with his partner's leg lightly. The ginger man stop staring with his jaw open and regained himself. Though, the two men were still in shock.
The baby still seemed to be unconscious, the aftermath of the ability; the kid or baby; will be unconscious for a few hours at first. The two men decided to head to their shared penthouse before anything. They also took some random piece of clothing -which is actually clean to not affect the baby- out of nowhere to cover the baby.
